A Dream Come True Collab of Ben&Ben and Chito Miranda

0

It is the collab you never asked, but has always wished for.

Ben&Ben has revealed on its social media pages their upcoming collaboration with a Pinoy icon. The band’s upcoming studio album will guest our all-tiem favorite frontman, Chito Miranda.

Photo from Ben&Ben Facebook Page

Parokya ni Edgar’s lead vocalist, Chito Miranda, is a “dream come true” collab by Ben&Ben.

Ben&Ben wrote as caption on the poster they shared; “3/6 collabs revealed! Our collab song with Sir Chito Miranda will be part of our sophomore album, out on Aug. 29.”

Photo from Ben&Ben Facebook Page

A screenshot of their videocall with Chito was also posted with a caption: “Sobrang dream come true neto! Salamat Sir Chito!”

The song Ben&Ben has forwarded to the rockstar is something we have not heard from Chito. Contrary to his genre, the song was quite intimidating for him.

“Honestly, I never get intimidated pero dito, na-intimidate talaga ako. I didn’t know what I was going to expect. I was hoping for a type of song na ganito pero when you gave me the song, sabi ko, ‘Ibang klase talaga ‘to’ Out of everyone’s comfort zone, I think.”

“I’m just really excited for everyone to hear. For the fans of Parokya, maririnig nila ako jamming with you guys. For the fans of Ben&Ben, totally different flavor, so I’m really excited. Gusto kong pasabugin ‘yung mga puso ng mga fans. It’s a fun collaboration,” he ended.

Japan Sets World’s Fastest Fiber Internet Speed at 319 Tbps

Hello my fellow netizens, I’m moving to Japan.

If you are ever unsatisfied with your internet speed here in our country then you are not alone and to add a nail to our agony, Japan had just broken the world record for the fastest internet speed.

Researchers in Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology demonstrated an internet speed of 319 Terabits (TBs) per second, setting a new world record as the fastest internet speed in the world.

It’s like a fast and furious internet speed multiply a million times. If you can’t imagine the snap that is this speed then let me help you better understand.

  • This speed is about 6 million times faster than the Philippines’s fastest internet speed which is only 47.52 Mbps by Smart Communications.
  • In theory, you can download 57,000 full-length movies in a second.
  • You can download the entire Spotify library in less than 3 seconds.
  • It broke the previous record of 178 Tbps that was set by Japan and Britain in 2020.

The test in Japan was completed in a lab where they used advanced fiber-optic technology with a 4-core optical fiber of standard outer diameter of 0.123 mm for the test.

Instead of typical fiber broadband cables that has only one core which carries the data at breakneck speeds, surrounded by a lot of insulation, they used an experimental cable that used four cores. It is what they believed is the most crucial part in their breakthrough which may help push higher data throughputs leading to faster internet speeds in the future.

They further used rare earth mineral amplifiers to sustain the data at this speed for a prolonged, simulated distance of about 3000km.

Though this internet speed is unbelievably fast, I don’t think we will be using these in our own homes, as with just our present fiber services we can already stream cat videos and music videos on YouTube, and any other social media content at high resolutions, without any buffering.

And as the researchers have stated that they can see this technology being used in areas such as terrestrial space exploration data exchanges, outer space activities that would increase the efficiency of missions.

One positive thing about this study though is it can be a basis to upgrade existing models of data transmission and support the speeds claimed by 5G, which is not available everywhere yet.

Bukilat Cave: Camotes Island’s Enchanting Cave to Dip In

Camotes Island has become popular recently due to its rising attractions that had been hidden from the public’s eye for years.

Now, people are turning their heads in amazement of the place.

One of the island’s wonders that contributed to its rise to fame is Bukilat Cave, an enchanting cave with cold and pure waters one can swim in.

Located in Tudela of Camotes Island, it is part of the eight natural caves that formed there. Many rumors and legends have already surfaced about the cave. Some say it even holds treasure!

In actual history, during World War II, many of the residents used the cave as a shelter to hide from the Japanese army.

Stalactites and stalagmites decorate the cave, indicating that it is indeed old. In the middle of the cave, light shines from the top during the day illuminating the insides. The water shows a bright reflection inviting you to take a dip. How deep the water is depends on the time whether it is high tide or low tide. Be sure to bring with you extra clothes!

Since this is treated like a treasure, the local officials want to keep the place as pristine as possible. Thus, there are restrictions in what you can do. For example, you cannot eat, drink, or smoke in here. Because of these restrictions, the cave stays beautiful for tourists to see.

#Viral: Ex-Lovers met again due to Curfew Violations in Cebu

A love story that is supposed to have ended might just be rekindled.

Ex-lovers from Talisay City saw each other again after being held due to curfew violations. To what is supposed to be a night of weary, it became a night of nervousness after meeting again.

Photo from City of Talisay Police Support

As posted by the City of Talisay Police Support, here is a transcript of what happened:

“Dolor: Sir asa me dalhon?

Pulis: Jaclupan Gym

Dolor: Kalayo ba d ay sir

Upon arrival at the Jaclupan Gym…

Dolor:  na shock siya..

Pulis: Nganu ka maam?

Dolor: Sir akung EX naa ge kulbaan ko

Pulis : Pagtapad mo kaw para mawala ng kulba nimu”

And the rest is history.

Will their violation of the curfew be a blessing in disguise for the ex-lovers? Or, will this cause another stir?

We cannot wait for another update. One thing is for sure though, we all have that one ex we would want to meet again.

Ikaw? Anong kwentong ex mo?
