_DSC0084

May 30, 2015, Patty’s Bakeshop initiates its Barangay Support Program in Barangay Lagtang, Talisay . Bread by Patty Corporation owned by Mr. Jose Rodion L. Uy opened its first Patty’s Bakeshop in Barangay Lagtang. Since Brgy. Lagtang is where the first Patty’s bakeshop stood and their anniversary is coming, they decided to give back to the barangay the blessings they received. Popup tents, road signs, chairs, uniforms for the tanods and street sweepers ,and plates were given to the barangay officials so that they could properly distribute the items given.

With over 42 branches in the Philippines, Patty’s Bakeshop aims to give a personal touch with their customer service, also quality and cleanliness is their top priority.
Their customer service is really nice! After I bought something from the bakeshop, their sales lady greeted me “salamat sa pag bisita sir, God bless” with a smile and she didn’t know I was there for this article. Now that is what you call a great customer service!

The Charlie,Charlie Challenge explained.

0

A bizarre new game is starting to trend in the internet world. A Quija-board inspired game Charlie Charlie Challenge is taking over the children with the thought of them being connected with the dead Mexican spirit with red and black eye ‘charlie’.

download
The game is played with six unsharpened (its for the safety) pencils, a piece of paper and a partner. Facing your partner both must hold three pencils then arrange them as three sides of a box. Make sure that the ends will touch to your partner’s pencil to form a complete rectangle. But the most common way of playing is using only two pencils and a piece of paper where you place the pencil on a piece of paper in the shape of the cross with a word ‘yes’ and ‘no’.

charlie-charlie-challenge

To begin the challenge both players must chant “Charlie, Charlie can we play?” and “Charlie, Charlie are you there?” if the pencil moves downward it means no, then if the pencil moves upward it means yes, but if the pencils move into different ways it means maybe or the question can’t be answer at the moment please try again later. Charlie can answer a ‘yes or no’ questions just like the Magic 8 ball.
To end the challenge both players must also chant “Charlie, Charlie can we stop?” after the pencil move, both players must drop all the pencils on the floor to break any contact started with charlie.

In scientific thinking:
Charlie Charlie Challenge is just a silly internet fad made. The reason behind the pencil move is just a basic Gravity due to the awkward positioning of the pencil it will move until it gets it natural position, so even if you wouldn’r want the pencil to move it will surely move it can be due to the breathing or the movement of the grid and the land in the earth. The paranormal activity you’ll encounter if you don’t say goodbye to charlie is just because of the brain gets itself into a state that makes it extra suggestible and fearful.

In Biblical thinking:
Charlie Charlie Challenge is considered as a demonic activity. The priest says that opening a portal between demon and interacting to people is a danger.

So what can you say about this Twitter Craze #CharlieCharlieChallenge ? Did your curiousity hits you and you begin to wonder what is the truth behind this game? There’s no way we can answer your question, the only thing you can do is to play the game and ask Charlie.

SHOE SELFIE: How to do it best

0

If you are one of my closest friends, you pretty much know how obsess I currently am with footwears. And since I am obsess with them, I pretty much wish to at least take a SHOE SELFIE but, I don’t know how to get a close to perfection shot. That’s why I did some research. I read magazines, blogs, and even watched some vlogs just so I’d be able to know how to ace a shoe selfie.

Don’t fret and waste time looking for articles because, I have everything in store for you. If you want to be the shoefie queen in your hood, score a few tips from this article by checking out the tried and tested moves below.

  1. I’m putting an emphasis about the importance of having a clean and manicured feet.  d8faa52421fc62702eaf4830b3bbc66d

We want people to notice our shoes and not our nail dirt. Or, you may not have feet as pretty as whoever owns the prettiest feet but cleanliness can get you through. That’s why, this is the basic.

  2. Ask your followers or friends to help you pick the best color for you.
    main.original

Pretty shoes times three will your give you triple the IG hearts.

  3. Treat the snapshots as if you’re taking a flatlay.
    tumblr_n3u74nIuPx1rz8t4lo7_r1_500

Be mindful of the angles as well as the beauty of the empty spaces. Do not feel the need to put extra “props” because the focus should be on your shoes and not those excess baggage.

  4. Sometimes, getting your feet up helps.
    Alessandra-Ambrosio-showed-off-her-sexy-stems-her-shoes

I’ve got nothing more to say but, it will really help. Just trust me on this.

  5. Opt for textured floors for backgrounds.
    tumblr_ndyt8pVNjt1tyywbwo1_1280

Tiles, grass, sand, and cement can all potentially be the perfect backdrop for your SOTD.

  6. Natural light is your best friend.
    sophia_webster

The same with taking selfies, natural light will do wonders for your shoefie. Your shoes look even more special when hit by the light as it creates artsy shadows.

  7. But, don’t be afraid to use filters.
    shoedazzle-brunch-atlanta

Some of us may go to the extent of purchasing new filters to prettify their grids, but if you don’t feel like spending, you can always turn to manually adjusting the brightness, sharpness, and exposure of your shots through VSCO or even just on Instagram.

  8. Be creative with your poses.
    11005174_718883701558311_1196277370_n
Just like selfies, you need to let your shoes do the pose too.
  9. Be witty with your captions.
    10914536_538648912904751_744342981_n
Puns are always welcome and your caption says a lot about your photo. “First impression lasts.”

Who knows, with your expertly curated shoefies, you might even wake up to a box from that new online shop asking you to take an SOTD with their new arrivals! To have your shoe size on record with other people – now that’s balling. Until next time, Sugbuholics!

KIPLING: Putting a joyous Monkey spirit in all that we do

0

300px-Kipling_logo.svg (1)

Cool, cute, useful, convenient, and bold. These are just some of the adjectives fit for Kipling. Don’t bother asking my why I decided to end it there, I might run out of space or, you might grow tired of reading all the adjectives. But if you want to know more about the brand, keep reading.

The brand that bears the mission; “To find fun in anything.” Simply put, you could say they have a lot in common with you! They live a joyful life and cherish little moments. But, most of all, they love making bags that lighten and brighten your day.

IMG_7384

Well, you might ask: “Why Kipling?” Well, you’ve probably heard of The Jungle Book which was written by a British author by the name of Rudyard Kipling. For our three friends, Kipling summed up perfectly the spirit of fun and adventure which they wanted to bring bags and accessories. And from this Kipling spirit, their monkey logo was born.

I know you wouldn’t dare contest (or maybe really do) me if I say: “The moment you get a hold of any Kipling product, you’ll fell in love.” I know I may be speaking in general but, that’s how I put it into words. It’s just superb. Because, Kipling bags put the fun in functional. Keeping style by our side and stays prepared for our busy schedule with such unforgettable bags. The playful mix of modern colors and prints add a splash of personality. Don’t worry, they’ve got something for every taste. What I’m trying to say is; “They have everything for us.”

IMG_7385

Even if you’re independent, (someone who follows her own style rather than the latest trends), Practical (because you’d rather be doing something useful than sitting around doing nothing), If you’re in for friendships, (you’re in for moments shared and making memories), If you’re confident, (for you follow your heart rather than following the herd), But more than anything, if you’re fun, KIPLING has something in store for you.

Because just like KIPLING, there’s a joyous monkey spirit at the heart of everything that we do. Always remember; “At Kipling, they don’t just make bags, they make people smile. There’s a joyous monkey spirit in everything that they do too, just like you.”

Globe Tattoo unveils its greatest home broadband offer, bundles plans with entertainment

globe-tattoo-bamboo-bianca-gonzales

“It’s a brave new world for broadband. We don’t talk about speed anymore.”

It’s no longer about the speed; it’s all about the content now. This is what one of the Globe Tattoo executives has always been pointing out during its Cebu media launch for Globe’s latest home broadband offers. After ending its unlimited DSL offerings (yes, no more unlimited downloads and streamings), Globe Tattoo now attempts to entice customers with its entertainment bundles or exclusive contents.

Globe Tattoo’s entertainment services include:

  • SPOTIFY for music streaming and downloading
  • HOOQ for local and foreign movies/TV series streaming and downloading
  • NBA League Pass for live and on-demand HD access to all NBA games

Meanwhile, here is Globe’s latest entertainment-bundled DSL plans:

globe-tattoo-broadband-dsl-plans-for-2015

The main good thing I see in these new plans is that, aside from all the entertainment and convenience, it also saves us from pirate streaming and downloading at the very least. You can watch shows with peace of mind.

However, these entertainment plans can be tricky for an average user. One might think he can now watch movies or shows to sawa or access these unlimited contents without worrying about the data limit. Thus, he can easily fill up the data cap especially if he’d like to watch in high definition. And of course, these plans are apparently for usage at home where an average Filipino family consisting of 4-6 members lives. Subscribers really need to monitor and be careful with their online activities.

It seems that Globe is slowly adapting the pay per bucket policy for their subscribers as what the rest of the world is doing now.
