School year 2021 is fast approaching and coming along with it are all the requirements and necessities to navigate another year of learning.
A couple years back and shopping would have been a sight of mountains of notebooks, books and all school stationery. But alas, the modern times have caught up and the checklist has also changed. With the new normal and advanced technology, it has evolved to laptops, tabs, cellphones, and earbuds among others, as our new back-to-school essentials.
Well, now is the best time for us to kickstart our back-to-school preparations because SM Seaside City Cebu will be having their The Great Seaside Sale this July 2, 3 & 4, 2021. With up to 70% off on participating stores mall-wide and an additional 10% off on July 2 (Friday) for Prestige card users and on July 3 & 4 will be for SMAC card holders.
To help you kickstart the school year, we have prepared a list of back-to-school must-haves that you should definitely consider buying or upgrading.
LAPTOP
The most expensive back-to-school item but the most essential for every student. The Macbook is a user-friendly, powerful, and attractive desktop that will not only make you more productive, but also giddy and excited for online classes every day. With distance learning, a laptop has become an important learning tool worth investing for.
WIRELESS MOUSE
Not everyone loves a trackpad so you need to get this easy-to-set-up wireless mouse from PC Express’ Logitech for an efficient work and navigation.
MULTIPURPOSE BLUETOOTH ALARM CLOCK
We all need something to remind us about our pending tasks and projects. So, it’s smart to have an alarm clock to help us remember all of that and not slack off, and with an AM/FM radio and a speaker in one like this Huawei device makes it just a perfect gadget.
MULTI-PORT OUTLET
One port isn’t just enough with all the gadgets that we have. We can’t stress it enough why you need to have Anker’s multi-port charger. It includes up to six ports to power your smartphones, tablets, and more. Anker’s MultiProtect safety system and UL certification ensure complete protection for you and your devices.
WIRELESS EARBUDS
Classes should be heard loud and clear. And when it comes to audio, wireless is the way to go, whether you’re heading to an online class or going to study in your favorite coffee shop. These Samsung Galaxy Buds are perfect for everyday listening – noise cancellation, HD quality sound, and a built-in mic.
POSTURE CORRECTOR
Maintain good posture while studying. If you’re always hunched over at your laptop, you need this posture corrector in your life from Backjoy.
TUMBLER
Snacks are probably the most essential in online classes so don’t forget to take breaks to eat and stay hydrated. Hydroflask’s chic and two walled stainless steel vacuum to prevent condensation and heat transfer to the outside of the bottle, keeping drinks hot for 12 hours or cold for 24 hours which is a great plus during the busy school days.
RAINBOW PENS
Though almost everything can be done through your laptop, it is still quite special to hold something and have school stationery all lined up on your desk. Make your study time a little bit more colorful and enjoyable with these rainbows felt tip pens and other school stationery from National Bookstore.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL DESK LAMP
Dark rooms and areas are not really ideal for an online class and not healthy for our eyes as well. This multifunctional desk lamp from Ace Hardware which comes with a tri-color setting that you can choose depending on your mood that is perfect for your next video call. It also has a soft touch feature and a built-in USB mobile phone charger for your convenience.
PLANTS
Everyone needs some greenery in our rooms and the best possible way to get it during online classes is by adding a plant to the room you’re working in. It also helps boost your mood and productivity which are essential when you’re stuck at home.

There are two pools that can accommodate guests. Both of these contain water that is piped from the spring itself, making the water not too hot and just the right temperature for leisurely swimming.
The spring also has amenities to make you more comfortable during your visit. Right beside the pool, you can occupy picnic tables under umbrellas or family-size cottages. The cottages are made with native materials, which really adds to the overall natural feel.
All around the space, you’ll find yourself under cool shade and within reinvigorating fresh air. Soak in the therapeutic gifts of nature while you take a dip in the waters that will make you melt.
