The cozied-up McDonald’s branch that is located in Ustron, a city in southern Poland took roughly 5 months and 50 staff to pull off the stunt (or put on the cardigan?), which was done to advertise the restaurant’s new winter menu. Talk about extreme advertising!
Huge braided strings of wool wrap the entire structure with a few enormous buttons. The building underwent a knitwear-inspired renovation that extends beyond the building’s exterior and includes the inside of the establishment as well.

A McDonald’s restaurant in Portugal has become notable for its opulent and stylish decor. Customers have dubbed this particular McDonald’s restaurant “The World’s Most Beautiful McDonald’s” located in the center of Porto, a historic city on Portugal’s northern coast.

The restaurant is housed in a remodeled building where Cafe Imperial – a well-known coffee shop that operated in the city since the 1930s – once stood. When McDonald’s took over the building, it kept the majority of the key architectural details because the coffee shop was regarded as a prime example of Art Deco design at the time.
High ceilings, elaborate moldings, and marble flooring give the restaurant a sense of grandeur and elegance that is not normally found in fast-food establishments.

Julian on Destigmatizing Gap Years
In the Philippines, when you choose to take a gap year, you will be ridiculed and labeled as “tamad” or lazy in school. However, Julian wanted to destigmatize taking gap years because that is what he did to prepare himself for his college admissions.
Julian shared how he wrote over 100 essays, searched interview questions, worked to make a good impression, and prepared all the necessary documents. And now, his hard work is bearing fruit because he received tons and tons of acceptance letters from different universities.

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor, Junard “Ahong” Chan, announced that a study is being conducted to determine whether a monorail operation is practical and possible in Lapu-Lapu City.
In the post, Chan expressed, “Mao na ba kaha ni ang sinugdanan sa katumanan sa atong pangandoy nga mamahimong (Cebu’s) little Hong Kong?.”
Furthermore, Mayor Ahong Chan expressed that the city government and Futran Philippines have come to an agreement through a Memorandum of Understanding.

Futran Philippines is the company responsible for conducting the feasibility study. Futran also believed that a train system is possible, especially in a location where Mactan Cebu Internation Airport is located. It will become the primary mode of transportation for tourists.
The mayor also said that the train would be cheaper than other modes of transportation. He also stated that once the feasibility study is done and when investments will come in for the project, Lapu-Lapu City will be the first City outside of Metro Manila to have a train transportation system.

Michelle Dee emerged as the victor beating the other 37 candidates during Miss Universe Philippines 2023 on May 13. Dee is now next in line to represent the Philippines in the most awaited Miss Universe competition.

Michelle Dee is the 28-year-old daughter of former beauty queen Melanie Marquez. Melanie Marques was Miss International in 1979. She is also the cousin of Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez.
Before becoming Miss Universe Philippines, Michelle Dee was crowned Miss World Philipines in 2019, represented the country during the Miss World 2019, and made it to the Top 12 semifinals.

Nonetheless, waking up fronting the ocean is definitely one of the best waking moments.

9. MAGPAYONG ROCKS – Magpayong Saavedra
A rock formation formed as an umbrella is what people rave about in Brgy. Saavedra. Old folks usually regard this place as mysterious. In fact, they said that one of the rocks in the area will sound like a bell if you try to whack it with a stone. This is why old folks in the area will usually prohibit you to shout in the area during your visit.
