After having its media launch last October 9, Waki Waffles will surely give you a different taste of waffles that you will surely love coming back.
Named after the owner’s son Waki, Waki Waffles offers authentic Belgian waffles by using the best and imported ingredients available and even make them using waffle irons specifically from Belgium. Despite the rising competition in waffle-making industry, they will surely catch interest of the Cebuanos as they put a pinoy twist in the waffles they serve.
[nggallery id=44]
What makes them more interesting and different from other waffle stores is that you get to choose the kind of waffles and toppings you want. The waffles come in Brussels (light and crispy) and Liege (soft and chewy) as you choose your spread from Nutella to Cream Cheese. The fruit you want may come from blueberry, strawberry, mangoes, peaches and banana. You can also add the kind of cream you like, may it be whipped or iced. Also, you get to choose the kind of drizzle and sprinklers you want. Just ask their waffle bakers and you can go crazy with your toppings.
After I’ve tasted a variety of the waffles, I say that Waki Waffles is something to watch out for. They have a huge selection of waffles you can choose from. And if you want them to be served the way your taste buds desire, then satisfy your cravings. You will definitely end up wanting more as they serve it you fresh! But if you’re on a hurry, you can grab a quick snack and go.
I bet your plans for a waffle adventure are all set. You can find them at Ayala Center Cebu(2nd floor of the Active Zone, right in front of Sun Cellular Shop) and SM City Cebu(2nd floor near Bo’s Coffee Shop stall and National Bookstore across Sunburst).
I’ve always been a fan of shoes. Well, I can’t remember when it exactly began though but I guess, I was just born to love those. I think Coco Chanel was right when she said “a woman with good shoes is never ugly.” And I couldn’t agree more. I think that if you wear real good shoes, you’ll look good.
So you reading this, I think it’s time for you to start investing for shoes too. We’re waiting for you and we’ll be welcoming you in our club with open arms. And, if you guys want to find out where to find good shoes, keep reading. Though I really wouldn’t want to tell you guys this secret but yeah, I think it’s time for me to give you your fair share, right?
Ladies and gents, “BEHOLD!” for I am about to disclose the TOP 5 best boutiques where you can buy really good shoes. Not just good but substantial as well.
5. SO! FAB
I love their shoes. Like, seriously! The colors and the style? They’re just glam. So, if you guys are looking for that “whered’ya buy that shoes” kinda shoes, go for So! Fab coz they’re totally FAB! And if you’re looking for boots, too (just like me), I suggest you visit TOPSHOP. There boutique is located at 1st Level, Ayala Center Cebu. Though they don’t only sell boots. They offer a lot for us. So, shop at TOPSHOP!
3. FOREVER 21
I’ve been following a lot of fashion bloggers here in Cebu and most of their footwears are bought in Forever 21. Well, when I went to their shop to check, I can’t find any reason why those bloggers wouldn’t shop there, too. Haha! Seriously, they offer really cool, and good shoes. I think you should try your luck their too. Who knows, once you buy one pair there, you’ll crave for more. Haha! So, visit their shop at Northwing, SM City Cebu.
2. MANGO
No! Not the fruit, it’s the boutique. Hahaha! Mango offers not only shoes but also sneakers, loafers, and all. Their shoes are really good. Good colors, and comfortable. I am telling you, their prices are reasonable. Hahaha! ;) So, visit their shops in SM and AYALA Cebu.
1. CONVERSE
Wait! I know you guys are thinking why this boutique is included. Haha! I mean, why not? Per their famous tagline; “SHOES ARE BORING, WEAR SNEAKERS,” I’m still trying to talk in general. Haha (me and my lame excuses). Hihi! But yes, this is by far my favorite boutique. Don’t bother askign me why. Just visit their shops in Ayala and SM Cebu and see for yourself. I know you’lll agree :) So, I wouldn’t talk more about them, just VISIT.
I know the TOP 5 is not enough. You may be saying; “Ngano wa man naapil ang Celine oyy. Or, ang Figlia, etc.” But wait! This is my opinion. Because if I’ll mention all of my favorite boutiques, I might consume more than just one section of this blog. But seriously, this ain’t a joke. At least, you now have a brief idea of what shops to visit first when you go to malls, right? This may not be enough but I’m sure this is worth a visit.
I’m hoping to see you on those aforementioned shops, and to those who are not yet shoe-a-holics, if you’ve reached this part, I know you’re meant to be ONE OF US! I ain’t kidding. You wouldn’t be reaching this part if you’re not that interested, right? So, go and save! Start to invest. For I believe that if you have a good pair of shoes, you can conquer the whole world. So let’s do it together! ;)
P.S. If you have any suggestions on what and what not to write, please feel free to leave a comment below. Thanks!
I don’t know why good fashion style is rampant in the metro, may it be in the malls, schools, offices, and even in the streets. Before, it was just a “Oy! Nice kaayo ka ug sinina” from your friends. Now, it’s “Oy! Nice kaayo ka ug sinina. OOTD worthy!”
But what is OOTD? For the benefit of the doubt, OOTD is the acronym used for Outfit Of The Day. It is usually used as a hashtag in social media accounts, especially Instagram. And to give you a fair share of OOTD’s, here are some photos of the people I saw on Facebook and Instagram with their OOTD worthy outfit.

Going to work without having to sacrifice fashion? Michal Condrado is best at it! Look at how he was able to have his plain white tee with a mustard-colored blazer, a black skinny jeans, a pointed black and white oxford shoes, to complete the look is his brown belt. She may not be a working girl but, she was able to pull this skater skirt with that cropped top long sleeves. Such outfit can be worn at the office. Chic, preppy, and presentable. Well, I just love how she was able to have the color black cropped top, match with the peach skater skirt. This girl will truly be a model in her workplace soon, way to go Pau! #OOTDworthy #SUGBUstagram #FashionAtWork

Have you heard of this new and innovative thing Globe Business is up to? Well, allow me to give you some enlightenment.
Cebu is one of the country’s biggest contributor to the economy, and indeed it is. And Globe is well aware of that too. In its pursuit to aid businesses in the country whether the small-scale or the macro ones, Globe Business held its first-ever Business Continuity Forum last October 3.
“Enterprises need to respond quickly in today’s dynamic business environment. Globe Business CloudSolutions allow an organization’s infrastructure to match the elasticity of the business climate and increase its business agility.”, Globe Business quoted. Now let us attest these lines. I’ll stand as the prosecutor, Globe as the defense, and you as the jury.
After doing several researches and hearing some forums about this fuss, Globe Business is causing a conversation that suddenly started in my mind. The articles started talking to my mind. I don’t want to drop names but let’s just call these as “Cloud”. I warn you, Cloud is a bit serious but he sure has the information you need.
I say, “What can this “CloudSolutions” and “IT-enabled services” has to offer?”
Cloud says, “The economic environment is expanding exponentially so as competition. Because of this, Globe offers a set of advanced tools that you can use corporate to help your business grow. That’s growing smart and innovative. These tools include Canvas®, Microsoft’s very own Office 365™ and of course Google Apps™. You can have specialized access to these tool with the help of Globe.”
I say, “These tools that you’ve mentioned are all available independently. What’s the use of Globe in the process?”
Cloud says, “Globe provides seamless access to these tools wherever you are. Giving emphasis to “WHEREVER YOU ARE”. This access will be provided, not just to you but also to all your affiliates including the managers and/or the employees providing them granular file permissions.”
I say, “I need to throw this question, ‘Businesses come in big and small sizes and of several categories, how do you think Globe Business can cater all of them or perhaps most of them?’”
Cloud says, “These businesses are broken down to eight (8) categories, or shall we say, business types. Financial Services, Government, Healthcare, Retail, Logistics & Transportation, and Departments (Operations, Marketing, Sales, Management, Purchasing, IT, Finance and Human Resources). Find out where your business belongs. If you’re quite sure your business does not belong to any of the aforementioned types, which we highly doubt, give Globe a call now.
I say, “Well, I’m convinced.”
So, are you switching to Globe Business now? That is if you have a business. But I believe you do have. Everyone has. Small or big, Globe has the solutions suited perfectly for your needs. Think about it. Let it sink in for a while. Give it a try.
Fiestas are one the most important events that are part of Philippine culture. Just recently, I got the chance to witness one of the grandest “small” fiestas in Cebu – the Feast of San Vicente Ferrer in Duljo Fatima, Cebu City last September 28. I got into the heart of the place (vicinity of the barangay hall) at about 11AM, ate lunch at a relative’s handa and at about 12NN, I went out and started to venture and be part of the messy action. Since it was a Sunday, my Filipino trait of being super religious dictated my confused wandering body to go firstly into the venue’s chapel. There I saw their patron saint.
San Vicente Ferrer has been Duljo Fatima’s patron saint ever since my aunts and uncles (who are quite aged) could remember. To give you an idea, my oldest uncle is 60+.
After giving a few words in praying, I proceeded to go out and penetrate the chaotic sea of people, to give you an idea of what it looked like in front of the chapel:
[nggallery id=40]
A closer look at the toys being sold. The cheapest kind sold at 10 pesos. Makes us feel like children again, right?
Seeing the state of the people going back and forth and noticing major preparations made making it a lot more crowded, I then decided to take a break. Upon returning to base point, there I saw a street magician joining in the fun and flaunting a few tricks. As I looked, even I started to believe in “magic”. I mean, a bending spoon? Seriously? What explains that?!
And one of things I looked forward to this feast. Any guesses? Hint: involves sparks
After quenching my thirst of giving myself an unneeded rest (and yes after hearing the announcement of the start of the procession), I hurriedly went out and once again joined the fun. The sights were amazing!
San Vicente Ferrer was now on top of a small float locally known as a karo. Such a sight! The procession didn’t start instantly since the drum and bugle corps (DBC) came in a bit off schedule. This caused traffic. Mind you, they have a different kind of traffic there. Instead of mainstream cars or motorcycles, people there used the literal “horsepower”. The maneuvering guy got in a bit of a jam, forcing my friend here to come near me. One word: creepy. Oh and yup this ride is what’s locally called a parada.
After a few minutes, the DBC came signaling the start of the foot procession.
The start of the final event. Yup I stayed at the back part, I didn’t want to get squeezed in between the floats. Some brought candles, some held rosaries, while others just walked because everyone else was walking. Yeah, Pinoys. Hehe.
[nggallery id=41]
Then I stumbled upon this old game, a sort of gambling one might say. Locals call it bulichi. It’s a game where you get to bet on any card (can be more than one) from choices of 48.
The owner then picks one rolled card from her water jug. The card that comes out wins. If you bet 1 peso you get 40 pesos, 2 pesos and you get 80 pesos, bet 20… you do the math. This game has always been in this fiesta ever since my dad’s mom was still around.
[nggallery id=42]
I didn’t get to finish the procession because I got stuck to looking at the game. I then thought it was a good idea to wait at the event’s end point to take photos, so I did and as the procession got there I took quite some shots.
[nggallery id=43]
The arrival of the first two floats also bringing in the first small wave of religious believers. A person on the microphone kept on shouting and reminding people not to pick the flowers from the float just yet. The locals believed picking flowers from the float brought luck and happiness.
The main celebrant then came. He was escorted by his own “bodyguards”. This brought in the last of the people completely filling up the barangay’s gymnasium.
Turns out, the display was more than just a bunch of fireworks strapped to a bamboo pattern. It had to be timed properly and it had a creative mechanism in which the posters of saints would be revealed. If only these people got the chance to acquire formal education…
After the display, I called it a day. I have just, once again, experienced the best fiesta celebration yet. The fiesta night continued until dawn with a huge disco party. Every year that place celebrates their “grand” fiesta, and I never miss a year going there. No, I really don’t go there for the food nor for the “bulichi”, but it’s because of once again feeling the spirit of Filipino culture. ‘nuff said
Some say, “Hey! Magpatahi kog sinina na pareha kang Kathryn Bernardo oy.” without realizing their physique is not like hers. You wish to wear what’s trendy yet you don’t look good in it. Girls, I know it’s hard. It’s hard to jump into the bandwagon if you just can’t. It’s hard to compete if you can’t even win over yourself. Well, as the cliché saying goes, “If you can’t beat them, join them.” Meaning, if you can’t follow what’s the trend or latest in the fashion industry, then why meddle in? Don’t! You can have your own style! You can start a new trend. How to? Keep scrolling!
STEP 1: KNOW YOUR PHYSIQUE
Knowing your shape, scale, and proportions will help you select the best clothes. PLUS! It’ll help you choose the right accessories that would help diguise the parts that you’re concious about. With this first step, you’ll instantly know what dress will fit you and will break down the barrier and that classic no-no that you should avoid so you can wear anything you want.
STEP 2: KNOW YOUR COLOR
People say that if you’re born white, you’re lucky. So does that mean if you’re born dark, you are unlucky? Nah! I don’t think so. It’s just knowing what color will suit your complexion. There are colors that’ll make your skin glow and you’ll look fresh. There are wrong colors though that can make you look pale, tired and boring. So, all you have to do is know what color will suit you by simply experimenting at home. Put on the orange, pink, black, green, and so on so you’ll know. Always remember, with colors, it’ll help create the mood of your outfit too.
STEP 3: DEVELOP YOUR OWN STYLE
This is where the “If you can’t beat them, join them” comes in. You have to define your own personal style to set yourself apart from the rest. Create a trademark so that people will remember YOU. If you’ll achieve this step, it’ll result in a confident and comfortable girl behind your clothes. Always remember that sometimes, stepping out of your comfort zone helps. It takes fashion beyond the basics!
[slideshow id=39]

STEP 4: AUDIT YOUR WARDROBE
I’ve always wanted to make things easy especially in dressing up for work. And I think if you’re like me, this step is helpful. Let’s go and build the contents of your wardrobe! Well, we just need to make sure that we have the important essentials that build the foundation of your closet. In as much as possible, dissect your clothes by color so it’ll look neat and organized. And then, this will serve as your building block in creating a solid wardrobe that will help you covered on all occasions, all-year-round.
[slideshow id=38]

STEP 5: PUT IT ALL TOGETHER
With those steps, you’ve already assessed various aspects of your current style — by analyzing yourself from inside and out. So girls! I need your creative juices to flow in this last step. All you need to do is step out, and don’t rely on the basics for it won’t get your image and style anywhere. Now is the time for you to be creative and bold!

So grab a notebeook and a pen, write those steps altogether and start to experiment with fashion and not the least, have fun! I just hope that this FASHION101 for you dear readers will encourage you to improve your wardrobe, style, and shopping efficiency for this is what this article’s about. Learn how to experiment with fashion and don’t worry about mistakes – you’ll learn from them and they’ll help you grow your style. STAND OUT GIRL, AND BE PROUD!

Who doesn’t know skinny jeans here? If you don’t, then you got to skip this one. Kidding! Honestly, who wouldn’t know what skinny jeans is, right? I mean, I think if not all, most girls (I assume guys as well) know and wear skinny jeans. But believe me, there are really times wherein you’ve paired your super-cool outfit with your skinny jeans but at the same time having a hard time choosing on what shoes to wear, right? Though it sometimes depends on what occasion you’re attending.
Want to wear sneakers? But you can’t wear it in formal events. How about stilettos or strappy heels? But it’s such a hassle that you can’t walk properly if you’re not used to it. Flats? Nah! There are times when flats are just too plain and boring.
This just goes to show that it really is hard for some to pick the right pair for their skinny jeans. And you’re prolly one of them. Don’t fret though as this article will give you some ideas on how to pull your skinny jeans with any pair of footwear, off. So keep scrolling:
SNEAKERS
I think I’ve told you about sneakers, right? Yes. Sneakers. Especially classic sneakers. You can wear them in casual events or even when you just feel like going out and stroll. Pair these together and you’ll surely have your errands finished earlier without having to sacrifice your love for fashion.
SLIP-ON SNEAKERS
Nope, this is different from the plain sneakers I just talked about. This one is easier to wear yet is as comfortable as just the plain sneakers. Wear these on any casual day (still) and you’ll never go wrong. Not only is this comfortable but is also fashionable.
STRAPPY HEELS
I know that wearing those aforementioned are for casual events, well this third is not. Well, you can if you want to but as they say; “tiis ganda” because sometimes it’s a pain to watch (at least for me). If you want to gain more sex appeal, go for the strappy heels during special occasions. You wouldn’t want to experience the tiis-ganda moment, right? I suggest to wear it ONLY on special occasions. You can take my word for that.
LOAFERS
Way back middle school, I loved loafers. I love how formal yet classy it looks even if I pair it with my skinny jeans. Wearing LOAFERS will give you that more laid-back vibe but will remain eternally stylish. Just a tip though: wear the loafers for casual occasions but make sure to pair it with something appropriate. I wouldn’t want you to look fugly, of course!
CLASSIC POINTY PUMPS
There are just times when we want to dress-up but are too lazy to do so. Well I guess your problem is solved. All you need to do is pair your skinny jeans with a classic pointy pumps and you’ll look classy. But, I suggest you pair your jeans and pumps with something appropriate too. Make sure to take a second look before leaving home. Or else, Fashion Police alert!
There you go! I just gave you my fair-share of answer for your dilemma. I hope you gained something from this. And keep yourselves updated for more TIPS on how, what and where to wear your hidden clothes in your closet. We’ll find ways, soon. Leave a comment for questions and queries, and make sure to stay updated because SUGBU.PH is worth a like, a share, and is more than worth a follow.

People of all ages, of all races love staying in Cebu. I love staying in here, too, even if I barely know why. After 19 years of stay, I just realized that Cebu itself is the place where I would want to live for the rest of my life. It has all the food that I want, the kind of people I want to hang out with.. Oh, am I making this too fast? Well, I’ve got five on the list. Here are the 5 reasons to love Cebu, at least for me.

Cebu delicacies never fails one’s luscious, flavored —call it tasty-craving— appetite. Cebuanos don’t have a crazy appetite nor a crazy cuisine culture but one thing is for sure, its distinct taste will drive you crazy. Call “crazy” exaggerated but who would like to talk while eating the dishes that you hardly find somewhere else in the country?
[nggallery id=33]
Cebu is the home of the tastiest lechon in the country and it is always visited for that. You may also want to mention the famous Bam-I. These two delicacies that I always see in every local social gathering. The sinugbang baboy, sinugbang manok, squid barbeque or sugba anything you want is another should-never-be-missed dish. You might have also have heard of the dinuguan, the famous pork blood stew; the kaldereta nga kanding, kinilaw, balbacua, and the sweet humba. Just to name a few more.
[nggallery id=34]
Food in Cebu locale does not only include dishes, there is also a wide variety of desserts to choose. From sweets to sweetest. Linubihang Munggo, Butong with Crabs, Pintus, Torta Bisaya, and the globally known Dried Mangos.
Have already tried these delicacies. Not yet? You surely missed a seventh of your entire eating life. It’s never late though. Don’t just stand there, indulge yourself and make sure to bring your friends.[/tab]

The Philippine Folk music never lost its glory even until now. Through time, it has evolved into something different, something customized for the Filipinos themselves. While Philippines has OPM, Cebu has Bisrock.
Bands here, bands everywhere. These should likely imply that Cebuanos are adept to music. I remember talking to a Dutch friend lately who said, “all Cebuanos can sing and they sing good”. She made me sing and she told me she was right. So I believed what Lisa said that night.
One thing that makes Bisrock unlike from other music genre is its LANGUAGE. I got you! Haha. The language, of course. Another thing is that it’s customized and suits the Cebuano lifestyle. Though the beat and the style may at times be contemporary, but the lyrics and its rationale are made for the Bisaya surely. Do you remember that song that hit nationally? “Gikumot kumot, sa dakong kamot. Ang dughan ko’ng pagdako dako sa gugma…” Yes, you remembered.

[nggallery id=36]
Cebuanos are generally termed as hospitable people. Are we, really? OF COURSE, WE ARE! That’s in the eyes of the tourists, foreigners or whatever you call them. But as a Cebuano, what makes me admire our nativity is our unwavering happiness. We laugh our way on almost everything and every situation.
Another thing is the Cebuanos’ heart for relationships. Family ties in particular. I believe respect and love have something to do with this.
But the most exciting thing about Cebuanos is their hunger for fun. If they say that having Filipinos are lively, energetic and fun friends to be with, then Cebuanos are even more so.
Want to know what I’m talking about? Get a Bisaya friend.[/tab]
[tab]Cebu is called “The Queen City of the South” and it isn’t called just for nothing.
If it’s the historical places that you want, you may visit the famous Magellan’s Cross which stands beside the Sto. Niño Parish. You may also visit the monument in Parian, Fort San Pedro and Bonifacio, Plaza Indepencia, Fuente Circle, and a lot more. What’s best in this historical landmark traveling is that the other is just minutes away. You can find any of these places all in the heart of Cebu City.
[nggallery id=32]
In case you don’t know, Cebu is also a home of white beaches in the Philippines. Virgin white beaches, you may call it. These beaches can be found in the extremes of Cebu. Bantayan has a lot of this as well as the Southern part of Cebu. If you wish for a dive, then Moalboal is the perfect place for you. Feel nature’s relaxing powers as you trek around Cebu.
If you wish for a mountain adventure trip, then you may venture to the sloppy rocks at highland Cebu. Mountaineers often visit Sirao, Bonbon, and Balamban for that. If you just prefer sightseeing, Tops and Busay Nature Park are your best choices. Up there, you can experience Cebu in just one frame. Another great stop is at Balamban. Feel the chill the you once experienced in Baguio. Satisfy your adrenaline rush and venture on zip lines, farms, cafes — all in one place.
There is really a lot to mention. Plus if I share all of the details, it will occupy this entire article. If Cebu is in your bucket list, make sure you’ve included those places in your list.
[/tab]
[tab]Have you already witnessed the Sinulog Festival? You sure have. It’s not late if you don’t. Sinulog is one of the grandest festivals in the Philippines. Celebrities, foreigners and natives gather to celebrate this culture that has been around for years. Cebuanos really have the heart for fun that’s why we have fiestas and other celebrations. But Sinulog is the grandest and biggest of them all.
[nggallery id=35]
Almost every day, a fiesta is happening somewhere in Cebu. Maybe every day. That may include grand social gatherings like weddings, birthdays and even burial wakes that can be fun and social unlike somewhere else in the world.
The true Cebuano culture is indeed fun but nothing beats experience. So I dare you to experience it firsthand.
[/tab]
[/tabs]
There you have it. I’ve mentioned five but honestly I have a hundred in my mind. Not to mention the night market, the city lights, the night life, secret caves, virgin forests, kayaking sites. I think I should stop, or else you’ll need another notebook for that.
Photos are grabbed from the wires. Copyright belongs to each of its rightful owner. Sugbu does not claim any of these images as its own.
If there is one thing I love so much, that’d be fashion. It’s just that fashion can’t do the same for me. I love anything related to fashion and that’s the main reason why I am here. To give you a fair share of what fashion is and my loves in between. Anyways, I love to go out, stroll in malls, sit in a coffee shop (sipping coffee, of course!), and be mesmerized by the tourists who are doing the same thing. I’m telling you one secret: “One of the reasons why I go out is to see what’s new in the fashion industry.” Wait, I think I’ve aforementioned “tourists”, right? Yes, you read it right ‘coz this article will be all about them. When I say them, that means the way they dress. Feel free to scroll down for photos of not just pretty/handsome tourists but with good fashion sense as well. Congratulations, Cebu! You have really good visitors.
There are a lot more tourists who dress better or the otherwise, but hey! That’s not the point. The point is, we want to open your eyes to the reality that we shouldn’t limit ourselves to just plain tees, jeans, and sneakers. We must learn to explore sometimes and get rid of the shyness. For fashion is not on what you wear, but how you wear it. So flaunt it! Wether you have it, or yes. Well, I know it doesn’t happen overnight but eventually, you’ll get there.
They’re pretty cool, right? I know you guys are craving for more so just keep yourselves posted for more goodies like these. Not just in this section but in the blog as a whole. Because, SUGBU.PH is worth a like, a share, and more than worth a follow.
[dropcap]D[/dropcap]on’t act so surprised, Your Highness. You weren’t on any mercy mission this time. Several transmissions were beamed to this ship by Rebel spies. I want to know what happened to the plans they sent you. In my experience, there is no such thing as luck. Partially, but it also obeys your commands. I want to come with you to Alderaan. There’s nothing for me here now. I want to learn the ways of the Force and be a Jedi, like my father before me. The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers.
Still, she’s got a lot of spirit. I don’t know, what do you think? What!? I don’t know what you’re talking about. I am a member of the Imperial Senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan– What good is a reward if you ain’t around to use it? Besides, attacking that battle station ain’t my idea of courage. It’s more like…suicide.
You don’t believe in the Force, do you? Obi-Wan is here. The Force is with him. I call it luck. Look, I can take you as far as Anchorhead. You can get a transport there to Mos Eisley or wherever you’re going. What?! The Force is strong with this one. I have you now.

She must have hidden the plans in the escape pod. Send a detachment down to retrieve them, and see to it personally, Commander. [highlight color=”yellow”]There’ll be no one to stop us this time![/highlight] You’re all clear, kid. Let’s blow this thing and go home! Partially, but it also obeys your commands.
Dantooine. They’re on Dantooine.
He is here.
Don’t underestimate the Force.

I care. So, what do you think of her, Han? A tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master. [highlight color=”blue”]But with the blast shield down,[/highlight] I can’t even see! How am I supposed to fight? Obi-Wan is here. The Force is with him. But with the blast shield down, I can’t even see! How am I supposed to fight? You are a part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor! Take her away!

Still, she’s got a lot of spirit. I don’t know, what do you think? What!? I don’t know what you’re talking about. I can’t get involved! I’ve got work to do! It’s not that I like the Empire, I hate it, but there’s nothing I can do about it right now. It’s such a long way from here. Leave that to me. Send a distress signal, and inform the Senate that all on board were killed. I’m surprised you had the courage to take the responsibility yourself. No! Alderaan is peaceful. We have no weapons. You can’t possibly…
Your eyes can deceive you. Don’t trust them. He is here. What?! Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. I’m trying not to, kid.
I’m trying not to, kid. I have traced the Rebel spies to her. Now she is my only link to finding their secret base. He is here. You are a part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor! Take her away! Dantooine. They’re on Dantooine.

Hey, Luke! May the Force be with you. Kid, I’ve flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I’ve seen a lot of strange stuff, but I’ve never seen anything to make me believe there’s one all-powerful Force controlling everything. There’s no mystical energy field that controls my destiny. It’s all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense. Remember, a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him. He is here. Ye-ha! I have traced the Rebel spies to her. Now she is my only link to finding their secret base.

Oh God, my uncle. How am I ever gonna explain this? Look, I ain’t in this for your revolution, and I’m not in it for you, Princess. I expect to be well paid. I’m in it for the money. A tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master.
All right. Well, take care of yourself, Han. [highlight color=”orange”]I guess that’s what you’re best at,[/highlight] ain’t it? Alderaan? I’m not going to Alderaan. I’ve got to go home. It’s late, I’m in for it as it is. The plans you refer to will soon be back in our hands.

I need your help, Luke. She needs your help. I’m getting too old for this sort of thing. Oh God, my uncle. How am I ever gonna explain this? Hey, Luke! May the Force be with you. No! I suggest you try it again, Luke. This time, let go your conscious self and act on instinct. Dantooine. They’re on Dantooine. You’re all clear, kid. Let’s blow this thing and go home! I’m surprised you had the courage to take the responsibility yourself. I’m trying not to, kid.
