To the selenophiles, we’ve got great news for you!
The full worm moon, the first supermoon of 2020, has got to be one of the largest and brightest occurring this year. The super moon is expected to be at its best form at 1:48 AM on Tuesday, March 10. It starts at 5:30PM of March 9, 2020.
According to the study, a supermoon occurs when the full moon is closest to the Earth in its elliptical orbit, making it appear brighter and larger than the normal.
Much more than this weekend’s super snow moon, expect more of these on April and May.
