“Every skater deserves a new kick after quarantine.”
Funny it may seem, but it does make sense and is achievable. Every skater, according to Margielyn Didal, deserves a reward after heeding to the call of the government to help stop the spread of the virus.
Margielyn Didal is a name you can associate to a ‘sport superstar’ for having her own signature shoes. Just recently, Didal, a skateboarding champion, proudly posted her signature colorway by New Balance.
“Proud to announce my first #nbnumeric signature colorway,” said the 2018 Asian Games gold medalist on her Instagram post.
Aside from the Philippine flag, the signature shoes also got Didal’s name imprinted on the sides of the shoes.
Didal is also part of Forbes’ Asia ”30 Under 30″ list. According to the list Didal, a skateboarding champion is considered to be one of the most influential youths in Asia.
If you think celebrities are done helping, think again.
While most (if not all) are busy nitpicking on celebrities for not helping, Nadine Lustre has proven all them haters wrong.
Low-key helping our modern day heroes, Nadine Lustre has been donating personal protective equipment (PPEs), acrylic aerosol boxes, and food among others, to Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital.
“We appreciate the hard work and services to our communities, may this humble gesture become helpful to the hospital staff!” Nadine’s aunt wrote on the post. “Thank you so much my lovely niece Nadine for sponsoring their PPEs, acrylic boxes and helping feed the team at DJNRMH. Proud tita (aunt) here.”
We appreciate the hard work and services to our communities, may this humble gesture become helpful to the hospital…
More than anything, may everyone be reminded to be grateful for whatever help we may receive, big or small. We will all get through this. For sure.

More businesses have taken their parts in contributing great initiatives to help with COVID-19 battle efforts.
One of the world’s top athleisure providers, Nike will also be contributing their share to help the world fight against COVID-19. Nike will be producing face shields and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to our frontliners.
Nike will be utilizing their own materials, including those for Nike Air soles. They will be creating full-face shields and air-purifying respirator (PAPR) lenses to Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).
“Nike’s generous response to the COVID-19 crisis helps to instill an added layer of confidence and support for healthcare workers, that we can safely carry our the jobs we were born to do,”
OHSU School of Medicine’s Miko Enomoto, M. D.
The footwear giant will be repurposing the collar padding intended for their shoes, cord from their apparel, and the TPU component of Nike signature – the Nike Air soles for the PPE in the form of face shields and PAPR.
May more businesses help us win this battle. This we should pray.

If you think you are about to win an argument, think again.
This is always the case when you’re talking to a bisaya. Winning an argument is not an easy feat. We’ve got plenty of rebuttals and we can even curse you without even knowing.
To others, we may sound lame. But to our fellow Bisdak, we are already on top of our game. And though we don’t really encourage cursing, what we’re trying to say is that we’re encouraging winning, in all ways possible.
We’ve got thousands of expressions we could use against you, but these could only mean the same thing.
We could say “Sumbagon ko nang ulo nimo ron!” or “Sumbagon ta nuon ka ron!” Both may differ in translation literally, they both mean the same. The first means “I will punch you in the head!” whereas to “I will punch you!” for the latter. Though they literally mean differently, they both express anger.
If you have plans of arguing with a Bisaya, this article could really make you think again. Dili lang mi maayo mokanta, mosayaw, o mo-drama, kay kaya mo namo na balikason if magkalisod na. I rest my case.
Here is a video of why you should never consider arguing with a Bisaya:
THE BISAYA LANGUAGE IS CRAAAZY~The funny thing is we don’t really do what we say, we’re really just creative when we swear. I know I took this video speaking English but effin love being bisaya ❤️ #BisayaRepresentsFollow JT on IG 😊 @guccijoeeDont forget to like and follow the page to be updated sa among vids!
