Exact location: Purok Sambag, Bangcogon, Oslob, Southern Cebu — approx. 4 hours away from the city.

BY BUS: Find your way to Cebu South Bus Terminal. From there, take a bus that’s bound for Bato-Oslob and ask the driver to drop you off anywhere near Vangie’s Home Stay. Island Vue is just at the other side of the road.

BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Island Vue” in Oslob. Parking space is available upon arrival.

On Tuesday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of May 18, 2021.

Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 93 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 140 new recoveries, and 6 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 52,028, while the active cases decreased to 1,424 (from 1,469).

Breakdown of cases:

Cebu City
– Total confirmed: 23,944 (+37 new)
– Total recoveries: 22,551 (+26 new)
– Total deaths: 862 (+4 new)
– Active cases: 531

Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 6,347 (+15 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,007 (+81 new)
– Total deaths: 168 (+2 new)
– Active cases: 172

Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 6,521 (+10 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,099 (+28 new)
– Total deaths: 219 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 203

Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 15,216 (+31 new)
– Total recoveries: 14,009 (+5 new)
– Total deaths: 689 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 518

Summary of COVID-19 cases in Cebu:

GVFF Coffee Shop is just a simple container van converted into an aesthetic shop. The general atmosphere surrounding the shop is a mix of mystical and enchanting and the colorful addition of the shop gives the place magical effect.

The copious amount of trees creating canopies that provide shade combined with the foggy environment creates a fairytale effect that pairs well with their elating cups of coffee and delectable snacks. This is one of the places that can be considered by many people as their tambayan due to the relaxing vibes and the soothing magic of the forest.

It is quite the distance to travel but those with private vehicles and motorcycles will find themselves fortunate to have means to access the coffee shop.

GVFF Coffee Shop serves a selection of coffees and a variety of snacks to pair with these. Their coffees both come in hot and cold and different blends such as hazelnut, latter, caramel, and mocha. They also have other brews and fruit blends that are perfect for hot sunny days.
