To qualify, aspiring lifeguards need to meet specific criteria set by Ikon Solution Asia, Inc. As per their Facebook announcement, applicants should be the following:

  • male
  • aged 21-35
  • high school graduates
  • with a minimum of 2 years of lifeguard experience 
  • has a Lifeguard License

If you meet the criteria, then you should be good to go for the job and step into the application process.

Longer Route for Fiesta Señor 2024 Solemn Foot Procession due to BRT works

Every year for Sinulog, devotees of Sto. Niño participated in the Solemn Foot Procession. However, next year’s procession will be taking a longer route.

Due to the ongoing BRT construction, a longer route will be taken for the solemn foot procession, according to the Cebu City Public Information Office. Because of the BRT construction, the Fuente Osmeña to Natalio Bacalso Avenue route is no longer accessible.

The 2024 route will be 6.4 kilometers longer than the 2023 route, which was 5.3 kilometers.

Miss Universe 2023 has finally unveiled the judges for the prestigious beauty pageant, and one of them is a Filipino-American physician.

Dr. Connie Mariano is a Filipino-American physician who became the doctor of three former US presidents: George H.W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Bill Clinton. Mariano was born in the Philippines and grew up in Hawaii. She then went to a military medical school. 

The Fil-Am doctor became the general medical officer at the military school she attended and then became the department division head at the USS Prairie. Moreover, she worked at the Naval Hospital as the head of the general internal medicine department.

Dr. Connie Mariano was the first-ever military woman appointed White House Physician in 1992. She was then established as the director of the White House Medical Unit after two years.

Let’s talk about its performance. 

The realme 11 is excellent for a daily smartphone. If you do most of your work on your phone, you might not be keen on this one. However, if you use your phone lightly, this is a perfect budget phone.

The realme 11 that we tried runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with a Mali-657 GPU. It also has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. 

The phone still worked smoothly after using the realme 11, such as scrolling through apps and watching videos from different social media apps. No lagging issues so far. 

Now, let’s head to gaming. We tried the phone with our favorite FPS game, like COD mobile. Unfortunately, the phone does not support the highest graphics setting for the game. Although surprisingly, the phone did perform well even after we tried playing for an hour. 

However, after using the phone for an hour or two, it was already quite hot. 

In terms of audio, the sound is just average. However, this is where the 3.5mm audio jack comes in, which makes the sound quality better. 

Camera

Aside from the performance, we know you are awaiting a camera review. 

As mentioned, one of the assets of realme 11 is its 108MP camera with a 2MP depth sensor, which is good for an entry-level smartphone. We tried out a few test shots for realme 11, and the photos came out really clear and vibrant. 

We were surprised that the phone can sport up to 20x zoom, however, do expect the quality to go down a bit.  Furthermore, photos taken at night are not as sharp and clear as they are with good lighting; however, it’s also not that bad either. 

Meanwhile, the selfie camera is good as well. There’s even an option for users to enhance facial qualities; we had tons of fun trying them out.

Battery

We used the phone for 30 minutes, and the battery percentage remained at 100. That’s quite impressive. The realme 11 comes with a 5,000mAh battery, which lasts quite a long time. What’s great about it is it also charges really fast.

Verdict

With its price and performance, the realme 11 is a great daily phone. It’s not as best-performing as its 11 Pro and Pro Plus counterparts, but it’s decent and works pretty well. Again, it’s not most suitable for games with demanding graphics. This phone is also ideal for children’s “first phones, ” making it a great Holiday gift.
