Being an archipelago with more than 7,000 islands, it is not a surprise that surfing is considered to be one of the most popular water activities in the Philippines. While Siargao has been dubbed as the ‘Surfing Capital of the Philippines,’ it is not the only place for you to get stoked across the country.
Apart from being famous for the beautiful waterfalls, a local surfer has just discovered Cebu, specifically Toledo, to be a perfect surfing spot too.
Photo by Ang Ging via Archie Tampus
Archie Tampus, a local surfer and sports enthusiast has discovered a perfect spot for surfing in Toledo City. Located across a cove in Barangay Ibo, the spot has been called as the Toledo Local Break (TLB).
In a report from InfoCebu, during the northeastern wind season, waves could be developed, perfect for that ride. When it becomes windy in Tañon Strait, you could also take this opportunity to grab your surfboards and surf your way through these swells.

Now that traveling to Siargao is still a hard feat to achieve, you don’t need to go farther to learn this much-talked sport. Fret not though if you’re still unfamiliar of the sport, TLB local surfers are willing to teach you too.
If you’re one of those who find relaxation from an engaging thrilling adventure, look no further. You can always ride the waves in Toledo City. Make sure you could check off your bucket list this activity.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play by Jack Thorne and is based on J.K. Rowling’s original story. It takes place nineteen years after the last events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. The story revolves around Harry Potter, who is now the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic, and his son, Albus Severus Snape.
From Hermione’s “It’s Leviosa, not Leviosar” to Malfoy’s “My Father will hear about this”, we surely are missing the good old days of quidditch and death eaters. Potterheads are definitely ready for more.

The Hidden Room 18
Dark and mysterious just like how a hidden bar should be. Room 18 gives off this subtle bold aura that only a secret bar can do with its statement art and neon lights.
Room 18 started during the last quarter of 2021. The bar was originally opened as an exclusive lounge that’s accessible only by fingerprint registration.
Its name signifies legality where you are allowed to party and drink, and it’s called a ‘Room’ because of its size. The space is roughly the size of a room making it more intimate and private for a more exclusive bar experience.
You’ll have an immense variety of bottled liquor, cocktails, and bar chow. The signature items are the ‘Secret Drink Cocktail’ and ‘Crispy Long Potatoes with Shoestring Camote’.
