SKY Fiber offers leveled up speeds at the same affordable rates

0
sky fiber free upgrades faster speed

New and Existing SKY Fiber subscribers can quickly enhance their productivity and lifestyle in the new normal when they maximize SKY Fiber’s leveled-up fiber-fast home internet subscription plans that are even more affordably priced than before.

A P999 monthly fee can now get subscribers up to 20Mbps, a bump up from speeds of 5Mbps or 10Mbps in previous years. To date, this is considered the most affordable postpaid plan in the country.

“Subscribers will continue to have broadband plans from SKY that are affordable but in addition get faster speeds that will entirely meet their needs. SKY Fiber’s internet plans were designed to assist Filipino households to cope with their combined demand for remote work, e-learning, online entrepreneurship, or content streaming,” Claudia Suarez, SKY’s Consumer Products Group Head said.

This value for money upgrade can also be observed in the other SKY Fiber unlimited broadband plan options, most notably in its highest speed plan, which was previously only 150Mbps but has now leveled up to 200Mbps for the same price of P3,499/month.

If value-conscious consumers are looking for a plan that is somewhere in between the basic and highest plan, they can opt for plan 40Mbps which is only priced at P1,499/month, or plan 80Mbps which is now within pockets’ reach for only P1,999/month.

With the recent upgrade, existing SKY Fiber subscribers nationwide also experience an automatic upgrade without the hassles of going through an application process. They just simply have to do a 3-minute hard modem reset to enjoy their leveled-up internet speed.

Meanwhile, entertainment-seekers will also be delighted to know that SKY Fiber is also offering unlimited broadband + HD Cable bundle speed plans of up to 120Mbps at best-value. For P2,999 a month, instead of just enjoying a speed of 60Mbps, subscribers can double the fun when they get to smoothly stream online videos with a speed of 120Mbps while also having access to over 60 cable channels.

To make the SKY Fiber Super Speed bundle plans an even more economical purchase, they all come with SKY EVO, the newest digibox innovation that offers access to over 190 SKYcable channels, 5,000 downloadable apps, and pre-installed content streaming apps such as iWantTFC, HBO GO, YouTube, Prime Video, and Spotify.

“The challenges of 2020 have compelled us to level-up our product offerings this year. We hope that we can ease the burden of Filipinos by presenting multiple solutions in our best-value bundle plans,” Alan Supnet, SKY’s head for Consumer Broadband Products said.

To enjoy fiber-fast speeds of up to 200Mbps at highly competitive prices, visit mysky.com.ph/skyfiber. The leveled-up SKY Fiber Super Speed plans are now available in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Cebu, Dumaguete, Bacolod, Iloilo, and Davao. In a report, one of the founders said that she was inspired to share the taste of her grandmother’s version of tuslob buwa so she recreated it, leading her to open the first branch in Talisay.

For those who are unfamiliar with the food, tuslob-buwa is a popular Cebu street food that originated in Pasil area in Cebu City. The name roughly translates to “dip in bubbles,” a reference to how it is eaten. Diners dip pusô or hanging rice into the thick and bubbly froth and pop the salty, greasy pieces into their mouths.

It is made with pork liver and brain which get sauteed with garlic, shrimp paste, onions, and chili. It’s a fun go-to food destination with friends since it’s prepared on a stove right in the middle of the dining table. You can dive into this fast and flavorful meal when the mixture thickens into a bubbly stew.

2021 Guide: How to get your PAG-IBIG ID in Cebu

0

It is quite hard to secure a place of your own right now in the Philippines especially in urban cities. Without the appropriate amount of money, you will have a hard time finding the perfect home for you.

Luckily, the Philippine government has its own entity that lets you store your money to increase it as time goes on as well as make loans for your housing needs. This is known as the Pagtutulungan sa Kinabukasan: Ikaw, Bangko, Industria at Gobyerno (PAG-IBIG) Fund.

The PAG-IBIG Fund is an important fund to be a member of. In fact, every Filipino is encouraged to join and be a member. It caters housing loans and financing with lower rates than regular banks, and is less likely to become bankrupt as it is supported by the government.

If you are interested in being a member, here is a step-by-step guide on how to become a member and avail a PAG-IBIG Membership ID (MID).

1. Visit the PAG-IBIG Fund’s Website

To start, you need a computer or a phone with access to internet. Next, go to the PAG-IBIG Fund’s website at https://www.pagibigfund.gov.ph/. You will be greeted by their homepage. Scroll down a little below the ‘Welcome to PAG-IBIG Fund’ title to find a side menu labeled ‘e-Services’ as shown in the picture.

Click on ‘Membership Registration’. This will lead you to the Online Membership Registration page. You will be greeted with a welcome to their system along with some additional instructions if you have problems in viewing the page. Click ‘Continue’.

2. Fill up the Application Form

After clicking ‘Continue’ during the last step, you are required to input your last name, first name, middle name, and date of birth. If you have no middle name, you can check the ‘No Middle Name’ checkbox to skip it. Then, enter the Captcha code in its field. If you have a hard time reading the code, you can click the “Can’t read? Try different words” to generate another one.

If successful, you are taken to a page with several tabs. Input the necessary fields marked with a red asterisk to continue to the next tab. You can go back and forth each tab by either clicking the ‘Back’ and ‘Next’ buttons or by clicking the tab you want to visit. However, you need to input the necessary fields of the current tab first before proceeding to the next one.

The tabs are: Member Info, Other Info, Address, Contacts, Heirs, Member Category, Emp. History, and Summary.

3. Submit your application

When finished inputting all of the necessary fields and reviewing that everything is correct, go to the ‘Summary’ tab and submit your application. Once successful, you will be redirected to the Successful Registration Page. You will be sent a Registration Tracking Number either through your email, phone message, or the website itself, as the application is processed.

The freshly-picked ingredients that guests will gather from the farm can then be used for meals in their lovely kitchen.
