Located in Bakhawan, Daanbantayan, the cabana flaunts an intimate stretch of white beach with aquamarine waters. Thanks to the cabana having its own beach, you get to stroll, sunbathe, or swim as long as you like without having anything or anyone getting in the way of your quality time!

The beach is cozy and the sand is fine and powdery while several coral rocks dot the property adding some character to the coast. At times of low tide, the water ebbs and reveals long, sandy, tidal flats. The slopes are gentle and don’t drop abruptly into the waters. The sand and the scenery come together as ingredients for a truly wonderful stroll in a beach spanning kilometers.

The Exclusive Cabana

The Sundown Beach Cabana is a simple, yet beautiful bungalow. It’s fully equipped with all the necessities and comforts of home, but it comes with amazingly relaxing ambiance and a stunning panorama of the beach.

The house has an open kitchen with complete sets of pans and utensils for cooking and dining. You can opt to cook on the gas stove or on their free-standing charcoal grill. The open design lets the aroma and smoke out while inviting the sea breeze in.

Next of the kitchen you’ll find their veranda overlooking the beach and the Visayan Sea. The spacious veranda offers a roomy area where you can seek shelter from the sun while still admiring the beach. The view of the sea and the horizon is so mesmerizing, you can spend hours just staring from the comfort of the veranda!

You might be wondering where they got inspiration for their name. You won’t be wondering too long after you witness the brilliant display of the setting sun right in front of their veranda. Since the house is located on the northwestern edge of Daanbantayan, guests get to see an unobstructed sunset over the Visayan Sea.

At the end of the day, you can comfortably ease into their 3 bedrooms with air-conditioner units. Thanks to the proximity to the shore, the lapping of waves and the sound of the sea breeze will lull you to sleep.

On Monday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of July 12, 2021.

Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 175 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 138 new recoveries, and 2 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 58,412, while the active cases increased to 2,797 (from 2,762).

The fields surrounding the house is so wide, it’s impressive. There is plenty of open space in the grounds, and you’ll walking a fair amount. Of course, walking wouldn’t be a problem since you have the whole property to yourself, and the grass and fresh air are very refreshing.

Within the grounds, you’ll find the swimming pool, the billiards room, tennis court, and fire pit. The pool is a mesmerizing infinity pool with two tiers. One tier is specifically designed for kids and small children, while the second tier is deeper and much more spacious. The pool has a grand view of the façade of the house, and a beautiful vista of the property.

Within a short walk from the pool is the billiards room. In here, guests can enjoy games under cool shade and a peaceful atmosphere. The pool table is set in the middle of the gazebo-type building, with plenty of room to move around. Billiards player or not, you’re sure to lose yourself in the calming ambiance!

Still within a quick walk from the pool is the tennis court. The court is full-size and comes with fences to keep tennis balls within the playing area. Playing tennis in here is a perfect way of getting your morning exercise in while getting your fix of clean, fresh air.

At night, the open yard gets cool and chilly thanks to all the plants. What better way to warm up than sitting by a campfire? Canoy’s Canyon has a designated fire pit to light a cozy fire and chat with your loved ones.
