On Monday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of July 12, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 175 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 138 new recoveries, and 2 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 58,412, while the active cases increased to 2,797 (from 2,762).

Cebu City
– Total confirmed: 26,595 (+56 new)
– Total recoveries: 24,574 (+36 new)
– Total deaths: 888 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,133
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 7,279 (+27 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,647 (+13 new)
– Total deaths: 171 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 461
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 7,196 (+27 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,611 (+16 new)
– Total deaths: 234 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 351
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 17,342 (+65 new)
– Total recoveries: 15,722 (+73 new)
– Total deaths: 768 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 852
