Bus and Ferry Option
You can choose between a comfortable bus or a convenient van from Cebu’s South Bus Terminal to Toledo City Bus Terminal.
You may take a bus that goes directly to Bacolod which costs ₱580, but of course, there are much cheaper options. The bus fare ranges from ₱70 to ₱90, while vans cost ₱110 to ₱120.
Buses run every 20-30 minutes with a travel time of around 2 hours; vans take approximately 1.5 hours with no actual schedule since if one van arrives, another one goes, so it may take a longer time to wait.

Of course, the fastest way to get somewhere is for sure through air travel. You may opt for a 50-minute flight from Cebu to Bacolod via Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines.

Atty. Roberto P. Laurel expressed how he was hesitant to pursue the idea of an Esports Arena as it was suggested to him.
“Initially, when this idea of putting up an esports arena was brought up to me, I was hesitant, because I was thinking; ‘Ano? Gaming? Di ba pang arcade lang yan? Baka we need this for laboratory’,”

Cebu to Tagbilaran: 2 hours
This is the most chosen option due to its travel time and its docking point. Panglao Island is one of the most popular travel spots for tourists, and the tourist hub is only a half hour drive from the sea port.
There are multiple departures by Oceanjet (starting at 6 am and departing every two hours and 20 minutes afterwards) and Lite Shipping (one ferry at 10 pm). Prices range from ₱900 to ₱1,400.

Cebu to Tubigon: 45 minutes
Being the fastest among the other options to reach Bohol, this is also a popular choice for tourists especially those who plan to tour the mainland.
There are four daily ferries by Lite Shipping (starting at 1 am and departing at 7 am, and then 1 pm and 7 pm again) and two by Fast Cat (from 7:30 am to 8 pm with the journey being an hour and a half). The price for both options start at ₱400, but you may upgrade your journey and pay additional fees.

Cebu to Getafe: 1 hour 15 minutes
If you plan to stay north of the mainland, then this is your best possible option. This route has three daily ferries by Oceanjet (starting at 6:30 am, and again at 10 am and 2:30 pm). The price starts at ₱750.

Puraficacion “Pura” Villanueva Kalaw was born on April 27, 1886 in Iloilo City. She was the daughter of Emilio Villanueva and Emilia Garcia. Pura’s mother was Spanish, which made the beauty queen half-Filipina.

Pura was known for both beauty and brains. She was a columnist in Iloilo for a magazine called El Tiempo. Moreover, Kalaw was also known as a leading feminist during her time. She even established the Association of Feminista Ilongga in 1906.
Not only that, but Pura also supported Cebu Congressman Filemon Sotto in filing a women’s suffrage bill in 1907.
At the age of 16, Kalaw won as the Queen of the Orient during the “Queen of Manila Carnival” (now known as Miss Philippines), the earliest form of pageantry in the country. Back in Pura’s time, the Queen of Manila Carnival was based on three criteria: beauty, talent, and good family background.
After winning the title, Pura stayed in Manila and worked as a journalist for a suffragist publication called Woman’s Outlook. She even became the president of the Women’s Club of Manila.

Moreover, Children of Asia provides comprehensive care, with “a focus on breaking the cycle of poverty and building a brighter future for these children.”
Children of Asia has been operating for 25 years, and aside from comprehensive care, they also provide educational support (through sponsorship), monthly rice subsidies, medical and dental care, and moral support.
Currently, the organization has more than 300 direct beneficiaries, from Elementary to College students. In addition, they have more than 17,000 beneficiaries from their nine partner schools on the island of Cebu. These partner schools have strong campaigns on child rights.

To celebrate the final days of Taytay’s Eras Tour, Marvelous Mouse Travels and Royal Caribbean are putting together a Taylor Swift-themed cruise called Allure of the Seas.

The cruise will set off from Miami after the final Era’s Tour concert in 2024. Swifties will get a chance to set sail along the waters with a four-night Bahamian Adventure.
It’s good to note that the cruise is a fan-sponsored event that is initiated by travel agents who are swifties, namely Jessica Malerman, Nicole Rivera, and Shelby Reyes. Taylor Swift herself is not affiliated with the cruise.
