Mark your calendars for the return of Tom Hardy as Venom in the third installment, Venom: The Last Dance. Director Kelly Marcel has just revealed the official title and release date, October 25, 2024, promising another thrilling adventure.

2. Siddhartha Ensemble Group
Filled with talented coaches and artists who have superb dedication towards theater arts, the Siddhartha Ensemble group is one of the top associations that not only train their members but also opens up opportunities for them to travel abroad to perform on stage.
With the Siddhartha Training Program, the organization aims to sponsor a number of scholars to improve their musical theater skills. In their Facebook announcement, they indicated that they will accept auditionees aged 18 to 30 years old with various experiences, whether you are a newbie in the field of theater or one who has a background of the workings in front and behind the curtains.

During the 12-month training period, the selected trainees will undergo music, dance, acting, and performing arts classes for a well-rounded experience; making the soon-to-be artists “triple threats” in the industry. Embracing the religious hearts of the Cebuano and elevating evangelization are the goals of Teatro de San Pedro Calungsod (TSPC). For their 1st and 2nd quarter wrap-up, the organization will be hosting shows with both their new and existing cast members.

This March 2024, a series of plays will be performed by the thespians of the TSPC within one production entitled, “Mga Dula sa Gugma”. When the envelope was removed from what supposedly covered some parts of his body, the crowd was surprised. Behind the envelope is the “modesty garment” that is widely used in TV or film for actors to cover their private parts, giving the illusion that they’re naked.
But what exactly is a modesty garment?

It is often sourced from scrap materials such as leftover fabrics. With the rise of intimacy coordination, Jessica Steinrock, an intimacy coordinator and CEO of Intimacy Directors and Coordinators, considered it necessary for more specialized development and design of modesty garments.
Steinrock further expounded that modesty garments come in two kinds. The first one looks like a coin purse,while the second version looks like a strapless thong with an adhesive attached in the front and back for additional protection. What Cena wore during the Oscars was the second one.

According to Steinrock, modesty garments are often pricey because only a few companies design garments to cater to the actor’s comfort. Also, its exclusivity requires such companies to ensure that their garments are tailored-fit for the specific actor’s skin tone.
Steinrock also shared a history on the usage of modesty garments for actors’ protections, such as during its early days when companies used fishing wires instead of visible straps alongside adding shoe insoles or part of a plushy costume inside the actor’s underwear.

Starting July 31, 2024, US carrier United Airlines will be landing at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, making Cebu-to-USA trips easier and more accessible than ever!
In a statement last Thursday, March 7, United Airlines announced its plans to “expand its presence in the Philippines with new year-round, non-stop service from Tokyo-Narita, starting July 31.”
“United will be the only US carrier to fly to Cebu with daily flights on 737-800 aircraft, which will have convenient connections from United’s flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Newark-New York, and Houston to Tokyo-Narita,” it added.

In a Facebook post, The Mactan-Cebu International Airport welcomed the US-connected airline that will land on its runways soon.
“With this new route, travelers between Cebu and mainland US can soon connect via Tokyo without changing airlines!” it said.
United Airlines is the first and only US carrier to offer transpacific flights in the Philippines. It will also be the first US carrier to operate flights to and from Cebu.
