You can dress up as your favorite anime couple, maybe Misaki and Usui or Naruto and Sakura. Then head to a photo studio where you can take some snapshots to make memorable keepsakes. You can choose between self-portrait photo studios in Cebu or maybe themed studios such as the AlleyCat Studio where you can choose different J-drama feels and rooms to match your costumes.
Buy some manga
Visit some bookstores such as BOOKSALE and National Bookstore for your manga options. Better yet, head to Unbox Cebu to scrounge beyond manga books since they also sell action figures, stickers, collectibles, and customized items!
Lounge at a cute cafe
After buying the latest manga series, you can take a break and lounge at cafes such as the Cafe Talk Library to lay with your partner and read the manga. Or if you want to meet some adorable neko, then head to MIAU Cafe to be surrounded by different cats and kittens.
Take a trip to Japan
No, don’t mean spending on a plane ticket for a date, but if you can go ahead! However, what we meant is driving to a Cebuano version of Japan – Sachiko’s Little Kyoto! You can find gorgeous gardens with Japanese paper lanterns and Torii gates! Aside from that, Little Kyoto also has a version of the famous dog, Hachiko!

HOW TO GET THERE?
Exact location: Sitio Lamacan, Babag Uno, Cebu City — approx. 40 mins away from city center
BY COMMUTE: From Babag Uno, take a tricycle or hire a motorcycle taxi going to Sachiko’s Little Kyoto.
BY CAR: Navigate via Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Sachiko’s Little Kyoto” in Babag. Parking space is available.
Have a dinner at a Japanese restaurant
Cebu has tons of Japanese restaurants that you can choose from such as Hachimitsu where you can dine with the city view behind you. Or if your partner is a fan of ramen, then do a ramen bar hopping! You can start at the Ramen Kamekichi, then go to Ayala to try out the menu of Bari-Uma Ramen, and maybe top off the night with options from Tongara Ramen. It will surely be a gastronomic adventure for both of you at the end of the day!
