Cebu City records 371 COVID-19 cases in three days

For the past two days, Cebu City has been reporting at least 100 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. Today, June 9, 2020, the city has logged 106 additional confirmed cases.

On Tuesday evening, the Cebu City Health Department (CCHD) has also reported 83 new COVID-19 recoveries and one new death.

As of June 9, 2020, Cebu City now has a total of 2,988 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 1,710 recoveries and 33 deaths. Total recoveries is at 57.23% ratio while death rate is only at 1.10%.

Although its number of cases is high, Cebu City still has the lowest death rate in the Philippines compared to the City of Manila at 8.28% and global average at 6.4%.
