We all know that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather’s match in 2015 was one of the highest-grossing boxing matches of the century. However, the public did not find it entertaining; many were left unimpressed.

Photo from The New York Times

For years, boxing fans have called for a rematch, but none of the world champions budged until Pacquiao announced.

Pacquiao made an appearance at the Rizin 45 in Japan. The chief executive of Rizin Nobuyuki Sakakibara asked the boxer, “Can you please fight Floyd Mayweather next year,” the boxer answered, “I’m ready.”

Photo from MMA Junkie

“Thank you so much for inviting me here again. I’m sorry for the last time that we promised we were going to fight this year, but like Sakakibara explained, this year I will see you here in Japan again with a big fight against…”

Pacquiao stopped mid-sentence, and Sakakibara completed it and said, “Floyd Mayweather.”

Pacquiao confirmed that it was Floyd Mayweather and that he was excited about the fight.

Could this be the much-awaited fight of 2024?

“Nag-away Kami, Naghiwalay Kami, Tapos Nagbati Kami” – Sharon to rumors that she and Kiko split

Sharon Cuneta had a few cryptic posts on her Instagram account, possibly hinting that she and Kiko Pangilinan have called it quits.

Photo from Philippine News

However, the Mega Star finally breaks her silence regarding the issue. During their New Year’s Instagram Live, Sharon and Kiko greeted their supporters and followed with a statement regarding the rumors.

Photo from CNN Philippines

“Every post I made was just to show you when I was sad. And then, of course, like everyone else, that’s normal,” Sharon expressed. “After sadness, we fix some things, and then we become happy.”

The actress also revealed that the speculations were true. “Nag-away kami, naghiwalay kami, tapos nagbati kami. So, okay na kami, okay?,” the famous actress-singer confirmed.

Kiko also chimed in to say, “Sabi ko nga, lahat ng pamliya, lahat ng mag-asawa, nangyayari ang tampuhan.”
