Why October 2, 2024 and Not Right Away?

Although ganahan ta nga ora-ora dayun, Sugboanons, there is a process that the authorities will need to follow; not to mention companies and businesses need to go through a certain procedure as well. So, upon the publication of the issued Wage Order, a 15-day period will be granted for its implementation after the news is generated for public information. And since it was just posted on news channels just on September 16, 2024, it means that its effectivity will be October 2, 2024.
