From P1 Million, the prize during the Ritual Showdown (Free interpretation and Sinulog-based Categories) has increased to P3 Million! Now that’s a GRAND prize.
According to the mayor, the increase in prizes is due to the “euphoric effect” of the Sinulog activities from 2023.
“The incoming and the ensuing still more of exhilarating activities to look forward to and bringing more of Senior Sto. Niño’s miracle and putting all of this together,”
said Mayor Rama.
The increased prizes are as follows:
- Champion: P3 Million
- Second Place: P2 Million
- Third Place: P1.5 Million
- Fourth Place: P1 Million
- Fifth Place: P750,000
The Sinulog Grand Parade and the Ritual Showdown will be at the South Road Properties on January 21, 2024. Moreover, the mayor has confirmed that the venue will be ready before Sunday.
According to reports, there will be 20 contingents joining the Sinulog Ritual Showdown.
