Mitsubishi Triton Pickup Truck Roars into the Philippine Market

In the world of pickup trucks, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has finally debuted the Mitsubishi Triton at the Bridgetowne Destination Estate. The three-day event was packed with experiences car enthusiasts will never forget, including off-road test drives.

The MMPC CEO and President, Takeshi Hara, described the Triton as a “game changer” with its advanced capabilities, refurbished design, and presence no one can miss. Its exterior exhibits an aggressive front bumper fascia with a big square grille that came with the evolution of Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield Design.

Under the hood is the newly developed 2.4-liter Bi-Turbo diesel engine with a “2-stage” turbo, which delivers 204PS of power and 470Nm of torque. Due to rigorous testing below the chassis, the Triton boasts impressive strength with a reduced weight. Riders are guaranteed superior comfort in any kind of terrain with its improved suspension design and a new shock-absorption system.

In its interior, one cannot overlook its peak connectivity and comfort. The Triton showcases a new nine-inch display audio system with select variants such as Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

For its safety features, the Triton has Forward Collision Mitigation with pedestrian and object detection, as well as Rear Cross Traffic alerts for certain models. With a starting price of ₱1.134 million, MMPC shows its commitment to excellence, giving people an attainable option to get a reliable pickup truck.
