Take a Break at the Peak with Highland Mango Ecofarm

Nothing screams “escape” more than a highland recreation spot giving you a view of nature and a little bit of the city you’re going away from. From such a distance, everything else looks so small – your problems, your job, and anything else tying you to the urban life.

If that’s what you think you need, you might want to check out Highland Mango Ecofarm. The catch is, if you live in Cebu, it’s relatively nearer than other resorts you might have in mind, giving you a similar experience to connect with nature away from everything in the city.

Accommodations

You can stay in the resort for just the day, but if you ever feel like you want to stay more than that, you can always book one of their cabins or apartments. Their accommodations are very much in tune with the aura of the entire place, with their cabins made of wood with a small space making the experience very intimate and cozy. The horseshoe-shaped cabins will remind you of the houses in The Hobbit, and the material used for these establishments are truly exquisite all while still making you feel that you are within nature.

Booking a room comes with free access to the pool and breakfast. Their rooms are also fully air-conditioned, giving you the comfort you need in your getaway.

Pool

If you want to take a dip in such a beautiful environment overlooking mountains and trees, then you’ll definitely have a good time in Highland Mango Ecofarm’s pool. Being in high altitude, it definitely is cold up there, but if you’re into cold swims, then it’s all the more reason for you to come here.

For those who want to come here for day use only, you can rent a Kubo for ₱250 during weekdays and ₱350 during weekends. The use of nipa definitely adds more to the vibe.

North Peak Cafe

One thing is for sure – it is beautiful in their North Peak Cafe. Especially as the evening breaks through, the city lights seep in and become clearer and clearer. Their use of a series of yellow light bulbs to illuminate the place makes the experience all the more worthwhile.
