Farewell to another Filipino Veteran Actor, Ronaldo James Dulaca Gibbs, famously known as Ronaldo Valdez.
Known for multiple roles in the film industry, Ronaldo Valdez is one of the Philippines’ best and most versatile actors. He also recently played the beloved Lolo Sir and acted alongside Kathryn Bernardo in the hit series 2 Good 2 Be True.
Unfortunately, he was reported dead on December 17, 2023, at the age of 76. However, his cause of death is still unknown.
His son, Janno Gibbs, confirmed his father’s passing on Instagram.
“It is with great sorrow that I confirm my father’s passing. The family would like to request that you respect our privacy in our grieving moment. Your prayers and condolences are much appreciated,”
Gibbs posted.
The Filipino entertainment industry is again mourning as we have lost a great actor. Condolences to Mr. Ronaldo Valdez’s family, and may one of the great Filipino actors rest in peace.
