PCSO Announces P1 Billion Base Prize in 2024

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announces a staggering P1 billion base prize in the lottery this 2024. According to PCSO’s general manager, Mel Robles discloses details regarding the big news saying that it was inspired from the famous Powerball in USA, which is their country’s version of a lottery game made come to life by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The new jackpot game is envisioned to be a standout compared to the previous ones, giving more incentive to lottery enthusiasts to participate and make the experience a lot more entertaining and anticipative. 

The general manager furthermore mentioned how transparency is paramount in the PCSO. Robles announced that 20% of the prize will be allocated to taxes, ensuring that a great portion of the money goes to public funds for the betterment of the country and its citizens.

Evolving to be more responsive to our modern landscape, the PCSO also announces its online lottery system, the E-lotto. Filipinos aged 18 years old and above are eligible to this platform, those living domestically and abroad. This makes the entire process of participating in the lotteries more accessible and convenient.

The requirements for the E-lotto are the following:

  • Philippine government-issued ID
  • SIM number
  • E-wallet
