Lauren Bautista is a Filipino Beauty Queen who joined Mutya ng Pilipinas in 2015 and represented the Philippines during the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International. Moreover, she also joined the Miss Universe Philippines in 2021.
However, Lauren traded her crown for a seat as the City Councilor for Los Baños, Laguna. As of writing, she has passed 80 resolutions and 9 ordinances. She also passed financial aid to health and educational causes. In addition, she is also the Education and Public Information Chairperson of Los Baños.
Earlier in June, the office of the councilor released a statement denying her romantic involvement with the basketball player.
“We would like to address the disinformation that has been circulating across social media platforms regarding Councilor Leren and her alleged romantic involvement with basketball player Ricci Rivero. We want to make it clear that these claims are entirely false and have no basis in reality,”
the statement wrote.
