Phone Review

It’s time to unravel the excellence that this phone has to offer.

DESIGN

Let’s talk about Honor 90’s sleek and minimalist design. The phone comes in three colors: Midnight Black, Emerald Green, Diamond Silver, and Peacock Blue. We got a hold of Midnight Black, and the color is perfect for those who like a simple and chic vibe. The phone’s back panel is made of plastic with a glossy finish.

The phone is slim, which makes it easy to grip. The size is also perfect for those who are always on the go since it fits inside small bags and even pockets. It’s also fairly light to carry around.

The power and volume buttons are on the right side, and the charging port and card slot are at the bottom.

VIBRANT MEDIA DISPLAY

Display-wise, the Honor 90 is great. The images on the screen are clear and vibrant, giving justice to any video or image you view. Moreover, users can effortlessly swipe between apps without worrying about the phone glitching.

200MP MAIN CAMERA

Let’s proceed to the moment everyone’s been waiting for.

The new Honor 90 is equipped with a 200MP triple rear camera. That’s relatively big for a budget camera phone, but it doesn’t disappoint. The images we captured were clear, and the photos turned out sharper than expected.

If you are not too happy with the photo outcome, especially when shooting in an area with little light, don’t worry. The camera settings come with an AI feature, which enhances the images even more upon trying.

50MP SELFIE CAMERA

The selfie camera is not too shabby, either. You can take effortless selfies thanks to Honor’s front camera.

PERFORMANCE AND CHARGING

We tried using different apps and games to test Honor 90’s performance. Scrolling from one app to another was smooth. We even tried swiping through a popular video-sharing platform for quite some time, and the phone showed no signs of heating.

Honor 90 is also suitable for gaming. We tried playing CODM using the phone, which carries the game well. However, do expect a little heating up after quite a few minutes of playing.  Moreover, the battery does not drain easily and charges quite quickly. This is possible with the 66W Honor Supercharge.

FINAL VERDICT

If you are looking to upgrade your everyday phone, Honor 90 might be one of the best in the market. It offers excellent camera quality, both video and photo. It runs smoothly. The phone is also compact and easy to carry around. Although, we suggest buying a phone case for extra protection since the phone is quite slim.

SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE

  • Php 24,990.
