Their shoreline is the town’s main attraction and it is in fact the highlight of their annual town fiesta which the locals call “Lapyahan Festival” and is celebrated every 16th of May.

Lapyahan sa San Remigio is a public beach so you get to experience some sunset watching while sitting on white sands or dipping in Lapyahan’s crystal clear waters without draining your budget. The water level is also very shallow on the first few meters of the beach so it’s very safe for children.

There are cottages nearby which you can rent out, but you can also just bring your own mats and lay it down on the sand to save on cottage fees. There’s also no problem with food and beverages because they have the nearby Kan-anan sa Lapyahan where you can buy barbecue, snacks, and drinks.
