On Sunday evening, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of February 6, 2022.
The whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and Cebu Province — recorded 322 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 1,009 new recoveries, and 7 new deaths. Cebu’s total active cases dropped to 11,048 (from 11,731).

– Total confirmed: 52,545 (+141 new)
– Total recoveries: 45,091 (+321 new)
– Total deaths: 1,624 (+2 new)
– Active cases: 5,830
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 16,663 (+23 new)
– Total recoveries: 14,639 (+0 new)
– Total deaths: 483 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,541
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 15,068 (+36 new)
– Total recoveries: 13,770 (+146 new)
– Total deaths: 467 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 831
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 44,746 (+122 new)
– Total recoveries: 39,245 (+542 new)
– Total deaths: 2,655 (+4 new)
– Active cases: 2,846
