On Tuesday evening, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of February 15, 2022.
The whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and Cebu Province — recorded 134 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 1,119 new recoveries, and 3 new deaths. Cebu’s total active cases dropped to 5,786 (from 6,784).

– Total confirmed: 53,149 (+52 new)
– Total recoveries: 48,413 (+412 new)
– Total deaths: 1,645 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 3,091
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 16,878 (+20 new)
– Total recoveries: 15,459 (+71 new)
– Total deaths: 493 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 926
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 15,243 (+8 new)
– Total recoveries: 14,414 (+175 new)
– Total deaths: 483 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 346
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 45,406 (+54 new)
– Total recoveries: 41,267 (+461 new)
– Total deaths: 2,716 (+3 new)
– Active cases: 1,423

A total of 1,666 laboratory results were released.
