Yakiniku is the Japanese version of our saucy grilled meat covered in rich-flavored sauces, the barbecue. Unlike the Filipino barbecue, Yakiniku focuses on bringing out the natural flavors of the meat.

The meat used for Yakiniku are cut into bite-sized pieces and are not marinated or pre-seasoned. Additional seasonings often only consist of a pinch of salt, a squeeze of lemon, or a splash of tare, a Japanese dipping sauce.

Basically, Yakiniku is just grilling and seasoning your own meat over charcoal. Food tastes infinitely better especially when you cook it yourself. With the wide selection of meat and seafood to grill, Wakamatsu Yakiniku makes sure that every belly that comes in leaves with the goodness of Japanese cuisine.

Their buffet is definitely the perfect choice for lively gatherings such as birthday celebrations and family reunions. Seasoned Angus, buttered scallops, squid, maki salad, california maki, and chili shrimps also occupy the menu, as well as the top favorites in the restaurant.

Wakamatsu Yakiniku also has the perfect interior to go with the scrumptious Japanese delicacies and give the guests the complete Japanese experience. Rustic wooden interiors varnished to a brown perfection separate the tables from one another.

The tables also doubly serve as a grilling station as well as the space for eating and serving food. The wall partitions provide the necessary privacy for families to enjoy their time together. From the food to the comfortable spaces, Wakamatsu Yakiniku puts a check to all qualities of a good barbecue restaurant.
