Sam Xander’s Stone Beach Villa: Your Own Private Beach House in Toledo

Hey! I have another getaway weekend spot for you, this time, it’s a private resort. That’s right! private! Like the whole place is entirely for you and your family/friends only, spend quality time with your loved ones here in Sam Xander’s Stone Beach Villa in Toledo City, Cebu.

The villa is nestled in a beautiful seaside view, facing towards the horizon where the sunrise greets you in the morning and the ocean breeze that gently blows through the window sills in the evening.

Out on the front porch, is an alfresco patio for outdoor dining and picnics, the freshly mowed lawn is great for all the outdoor activities for all the kids to play with enough space to move around, and even during the evening where you can gather around a bonfire.

The outdoor area has well-maintained foliage to shrubs to plants; the palm trees that almost tower over the villa brings out the character to the overall atmospheric nature of the resort.

And beneath the palm trees is a lovely cabana where you can enjoy a nice view of the ocean while relaxing in their freshly cleaned sheets and cushion.

Though this resort doesn’t have a shore where you can walk on sand, it does have a pretty surreal diving spot where you can enjoy diving into the sea floor and seeing its natural underwater corals.

The staffs were accommodating and attentive to your concerns, they talk with you and guests to make you feel like home and it’s nice that it makes everyone feel comfortable with each other.

  1. Won’t Be Coming Back – Bad Service and Broken Amenities
We were really disappointed during our stay at Sam Xander’s Stone Beach Villa on November 1, 2024. The aircon didn’t work, and the staff couldn’t fix it. After a long drive, we were stuck in an uncomfortable room. When we asked for a refund, they just offered a discount for next time, which we don’t want. Don’t stay here if you expect working amenities and good service. 😤🚫

We actually didn’t enjoy our stay at all. We had no choice but to stay after driving so far, but it definitely didn’t meet our expectations. The amenities shown on your Facebook page, like extra chairs, foam on one of the kubos, karaoke, and a bonfire, were nowhere to be found when we arrived. This felt like false advertising.

Also, I was blocked on Facebook after sharing my honest review. What is that about? Blocking guests to prevent honest reviews doesn’t seem fair. And as for the 15% voucher, what are we supposed to do with it when we have no plans to come back? Sadly, we wouldn’t recommend staying here, and we don’t plan on returning. 👎
