New modern jeepneys to start plying Talisay to IT Park route

Mango Jeep, a modern public jeep will soon ply the Talisay to I.T. Park route via Labangon starting this Saturday, December 11, 2021.

In partnership with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Region 7, Tourganize Group of Companies, Inc. officially launches its fleet of 15 modern jeepneys on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Talisay City Hall grounds.

Tourganize Group of Companies President – Mr. Emmanuel Barretto, Jr. highlighted the Mango Jeep’s Mission in his message:

“We are not here to compete.  We are here to help upgrade the Modern Jeepney.  We are here to create more jobs.  We are here to work hand in hand with the local government.  We are here to improve the ride experience of all Cebuanos”

Department of Transportation DOTr  Secretary Atty Arthur P Tugade is the keynote speaker of the event.

Talisay – IT Park Route

  • Minimum fare: P11 (cash or reloadable Mango Jeep card)
  • Route: Poblacion Talisay – Rizal St. – San Isidro Road – Sangi – Gaisano Tabunok – Bulacao – Shopwise – Punta – Tisa – Salvador – Banawa – M Velez – Escario – Gorordo – IT Park and vice versa.

Mango Jeep

Mango Jeep is not your usual modern jeep, it is dressed in eye-catching festive and fun artwork in yellow, blue with a touch of pink 

It has a great air-conditioning system with comfortable seats to provide comfort to our passengers.  A TV set for entertainment and a CCTV camera for passenger safety on board.  With a minimum fare of P11.00 only, payment accepted is in cash or reloadable Mango Jeep card.

The new route covers  Poblacon Talisay, Cansojong, Tanke, San Roque, Inayawan, Punta Princesa, Labangon, Salvador Extn., Banawa, Capitol, Escarion, JY Lahug to I.T. Park terminal and vice versa.

  1. The jeeps pass by with people standing all the time, then at other times the drivers won’t stop even though there’s no-one standing. This is inconsistent. If four buses go by then that’s almost two hours waiting and for us seniors that’s rude. So I suggest make a policy and stick to it,
