Situated in a private beach in Sitio Kinabonbonan, Brgy. Tangbo, Samboan, KayaTent is the newest camping experience in town that everyone should try. It provides you a comfortable tent accommodation perfect for a memorable night with your friends or your special someone.

The fact that it’s nestled in a private beach makes it an even more appealing and peaceful haven for those seeking tranquility. You will hear nothing but the sound of the waves and the snores of the people you are camping with.

We owe it to ourselves to take a break sometimes. Stress can adversely impact our health if we don’t give ourselves a breather. Spending quality time with your loved ones or just by yourself here at KayaTent is a sure way to de-stress. They also have hammocks where you can just lazily kill time by reading books or by taking a meaningful nap.

The laidback feels complemented with a stunning view of the sunrise and sunset from the beachfront will take you to a different level of relaxation.

Aside from the tent that comes with mattress and pillows for your comfortable sleep, KayaTent can also offer a set menu subject to additional charges. Prior to arrival, you can ask for full board meals arrangement, although please note that meals will be based on the availability of supplies in Samboan Market.

Changing rooms and shower area are also available.

Probably the most obvious benefit of camping is the fact that it allows us to meditate and reassess ourselves. Disconnecting from our tablets, laptops and other gadgets and reconnecting with nature are just general tips on how we can get the best out of our camping experience. There are even reports and researches that claim camping can improve our overall health.

Samboan, a town down south of the Cebu island, is home to many amazing natural landscapes and destinations. It has awed many tourists for its refreshing waterfalls like the Aguinid and Da-o Falls. When camping at KayaTent, a side trip to these beautiful pieces of nature in Samboan wouldn’t really hurt.

HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact location: Sitio Kinabonbonan, Brgy. Tangbo, Samboan, Southern Cebu — approx. 3 hours away from Cebu City.

BY BUS: From Cebu South Bus Terminal, ride a bus bound for Samboan/Bato via Barili. Ask the driver/conductor to drop you off at Sitio Kinabonbonan and ask locals around how to get to KayaTent. KayaTent is 5-10 minutes away from Aguinid Falls and can be easily spotted from the highway.

BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Brgy. Tangbo” in Samboan. Parking space is available.
