How to get there?

Exact location: Sitio Suba, Brgy. Maya, Daanbantayan, Northern Cebu — approx. 4 hours away from the city.

BY CAR: Navigate on Waze or Google Maps and search for “Golden Sands Destination Resorts”. Parking space is available.

BY PUBLIC COMMUTE: From the North Bus Terminal in Mandaue City, ride a bus bound for Maya-Bagay Daanbantayan, or you can simply ask and conductor around the bus terminal and tell them that you’re going to Maya Daanbantayan. Travel time is around 4 hours and fare is ₱212 per head per way (airconditioned bus). Tell the driver to drop you off at Maya Public Market where you can also buy some food and stuff.

From there, ride a habal-habal or tricycle going to Golden Sands Destination Resorts (formerly Sandoval Beach Resort). This is a popular destination among the locals. Fare is ₱20-30 per person.
