On Monday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of June 28, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 84 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 121 new recoveries, and 1 new death. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 55,761, while the active cases decreased to 1,725 (from 1,765).

– Total confirmed: 25,488 (+36 new)
– Total recoveries: 23,814 (+28 new)
– Total deaths: 870 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 804
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 6,852 (+11 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,496 (+5 new)
– Total deaths: 170 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 186
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 6,922 (+14 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,440 (+12 new)
– Total deaths: 230 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 252
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 16,499 (+23 new)
– Total recoveries: 15,269 (+76 new)
– Total deaths: 747 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 483
