On Sunday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of April 11, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 72 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 158 new recoveries, and 3 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 47,972, while the active cases dropped to 3,813 (from 3,902).

– Total confirmed: 22,284 (+21 new)
– Total recoveries: 20,549 (+124 new)
– Total deaths: 823 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 912
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 5,857 (+8 new)
– Total recoveries: 4,827 (+0 new)
– Total deaths: 148 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 882
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 5,993 (+15 new)
– Total recoveries: 5,045 (+34 new)
– Total deaths: 203 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 745
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 13,838 (+28 new)
– Total recoveries: 11,974 (+0 new)
– Total deaths: 590 (+2 new)
– Active cases: 1,274
