On Saturday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of July 31, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 684 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 271 new recoveries, and 18 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 67,157, while the active cases increased to 7,576 (from 7,184).

– Total confirmed: 29,749 (+297 new)
– Total recoveries: 26,139 (+96 new)
– Total deaths: 922 (+6 new)
– Active cases: 2,688
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 8,580 (+87 new)
– Total recoveries: 7,257 (+115 new)
– Total deaths: 193 (+6 new)
– Active cases: 1,130
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 8,152 (+56 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,948 (+5 new)
– Total deaths: 243 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 961
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 20,676 (+244 new)
– Total recoveries: 17,007 (+55 new)
– Total deaths: 872 (+6 new)
– Active cases: 2,797
