On Monday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of October 11, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 58 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 237 new recoveries, and 22 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 102,647, while the active cases increased to 3,379 (from 3,580).
Cebu City
– Total confirmed: 40,728 (+21 new)
– Total recoveries: 38,369 (+42 new)
– Total deaths: 1,437 (+3 new)
– Active cases: 922
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 13,481 (+5 new)
– Total recoveries: 12,279 (+3 new)
– Total deaths: 409 (+3 new)
– Active cases: 793
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 12,030 (+7 new)
– Total recoveries: 11,332 (+10 new)
– Total deaths: 402 (+2 new)
– Active cases: 296
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 36,408 (+25 new)
– Total recoveries: 32,718 (+182 new)
– Total deaths: 2,322 (+14 new)
– Active cases: 1,368
