On Monday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of April 26, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 46 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 253 new recoveries, and 2 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 50,202, while the active cases dropped to 2,989 (from 3,197).

– Total confirmed: 23,158 (+14 new)
– Total recoveries: 21,490 (+66 new)
– Total deaths: 832 (+2 new)
– Active cases: 836
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 6,160 (+9 new)
– Total recoveries: 5,291 (+33 new)
– Total deaths: 155 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 714
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 6,269 (+7 new)
– Total recoveries: 5,597 (+31 new)
– Total deaths: 208 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 464
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 14,615 (+16 new)
– Total recoveries: 13,019 (+123 new)
– Total deaths: 621 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 975
