On Wednesday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of March 31, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 390 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 617 new recoveries, and 14 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 46,069, while the active cases dropped to 4,966 (from 5,203).

– Total confirmed: 21,624(+149 new)
– Total recoveries: 19,224 (+259 new)
– Total deaths: 813 (+4 new)

Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 5,594 (+47 new)
– Total recoveries: 4,480 (+121 new)
– Total deaths: 146 (+10 new)
– Active cases: 968
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 5,703 (+59 new)
– Total recoveries: 4,541 (+2 new)
– Total deaths: 202 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 960
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 13,148 (+135 new)
– Total recoveries: 11,129 (+235 new)
– Total deaths: 568 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,451
