On Thursday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of March 18, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 383 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 635 new recoveries, and 6 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 42,593, while the active cases dropped to 6,265 (from 6,554).

– Total confirmed: 20,265 (+120 new)
– Total recoveries: 16,908 (+349 new)
– Total deaths: 775 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 2,582
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 5,133 (+67 new)
– Total recoveries: 3,922 (+44 new)
– Total deaths: 130 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,081
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 5,149 (+54 new)
– Total recoveries: 3,833 (+109 new)
– Total deaths: 196 (+4 new)
– Active cases: 1,120
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 12,046 (+142 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,050 (+133 new)
– Total deaths: 514 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,482
