On Tuesday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of September 14, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 366 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 503 new recoveries, and 25 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 97,817, while the active cases increased to 8,667 (from 8,823).

– Total confirmed: 39,470 (+94 new)
– Total recoveries: 35,282 (+149 new)
– Total deaths: 1,247 (+9 new)

Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 12,841 (+46 new)

Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 11,514 (+37 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,118 (+53 new)
– Total deaths: 346 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,050
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 33,992 (+189 new)
– Total recoveries: 28,657 (+208 new)
– Total deaths: 1,924 (+14 new)
– Active cases: 3,411
