On Friday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of September 10, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 360 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 638 new recoveries, and 36 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 96,758, while the active cases increased to 9,820 (from 10,199).
Cebu City
– Total confirmed: 39,157 (+123 new)
– Total recoveries: 34,650 (+144 new)
– Total deaths: 1,221 (+3 new)
– Active cases: 3,286
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 12,671 (+46 new)
– Total recoveries: 11,066 (+41 new)
– Total deaths: 323 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,282
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 11,421 (+55 new)
– Total recoveries: 9,820 (+150 new)
– Total deaths: 344 (+6 new)
– Active cases: 1,257
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 33,509 (+136 new)
– Total recoveries: 27,648 (+303 new)
– Total deaths: 1,866 (+26 new)
– Active cases: 3,995
