On Friday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of February 12, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 338 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 149 new recoveries, and 2 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 29,760, while the active cases rose to 4,593 (from 4,404).
Cebu’s recovery rate is now at 79.72%.

– Total confirmed: 14,369 (+199 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,896 (+108 new)
– Total deaths: 712 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 2,761
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 3,289 (+35 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,800 (+0 new)
– Total deaths: 115 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 513
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 3,407 (+31 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,717 (+11 new)
– Total deaths: 177 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 374
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 8,695 (+73 new)
– Total recoveries: 7,312 (+30 new)
– Total deaths: 438 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 945
