On Tuesday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of March 23, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 311 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 773 new recoveries, and 26 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 44,033, while the active cases dropped to 5,662 (from 6,147).

– Total confirmed: 20,836 (+121 new)
– Total recoveries: 18,091 (+617 new)
– Total deaths: 797 (+18 new)
– Active cases: 1,948
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 5,388 (+46 new)
– Total recoveries: 4,101 (+0 new)
– Total deaths: 132 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,101
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 5,334 (+59 new)
– Total recoveries: 4,107 (+65 new)
– Total deaths: 197 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,084
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 12,475 (+85 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,416 (+91 new)
– Total deaths: 530 (+7 new)
– Active cases: 1,529
