On Wednesday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of April 14, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 261 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 191 new recoveries, and 2 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 48,487, while the active cases increased to 3,625 (from 3,557).

Cebu City
– Total confirmed: 22,510 (+112 new)
– Total recoveries: 20,647 (+12 new)
– Total deaths: 825 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,038
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 5,931 (+45 new)
– Total recoveries: 4,969 (+119 new)
– Total deaths: 150 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 812
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 6,045 (+30 new)
– Total recoveries: 5,185 (+55 new)
– Total deaths: 205 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 655
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 14,001 (+74 new)
– Total recoveries: 12,284 (+5 new)
– Total deaths: 597 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,120
