On Monday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of July 19, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 257 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 113 new recoveries, and 7 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 60,473, while the active cases dropped to 3,801 (from 4,463).

– Total confirmed: 27,424 (+120 new)
– Total recoveries: 25,049 (+76 new)
– Total deaths: 891 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,484
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 7,578 (+38 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,797 (+5 new)
– Total deaths: 175 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 606
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 7,413 (+31 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,718 (+20 new)
– Total deaths: 234 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 461
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 18,058 (+68 new)
– Total recoveries: 16,016 (+12 new)
– Total deaths: 792 (+7 new)
– Active cases: 1,250
