On Sunday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of March 28, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 211 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 248 new recoveries, and 2 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 45,342, while the active cases decreased to 5,516 (from 5,552).

– Total confirmed: 21,348 (+80 new)
– Total recoveries: 18,731 (+178 new)
– Total deaths: 805 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,812
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 5,513 (+37 new)
– Total recoveries: 4,268 (+0 new)
– Total deaths: 132 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,113
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 5,578 (+22 new)
– Total recoveries: 4,415 (+49 new)
– Total deaths: 199 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 964
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 12,903 (+72 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,727 (+21 new)
– Total deaths: 549 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,627
