Durhan White Beach Resort: Tabuelan’s Little Paradise

Durhan White Beach Resort is considered as Tabuelan’s “Little Paradise” but the experience that awaits its guests is far from little.

Located 90 kilometers from Cebu City, Durhan White Beach Resort is another must-visit white sand beach fringing the island of Cebu.

As mentioned in its name, the resort’s well-maintained beachfront has a long stretch of white sand that serves as their main attraction. It is not only aesthetically pleasing but the sands are fine enough for a fun and comfortable game of beach volleyball as well.

Separating the sandy shores of the beach from the grassy and verdant gardens is a line of coconut and Talisay Trees coupled with other plants.

Near the entrance, most of the buildings look modern but inside is a rustic vibe from the various flora, bamboo and wood facades, and nipa hut cottages. As guests stroll around, they’ll notice benches lining the cemented paths with a seaside view that will set up the mood for intimate moments with loved ones.

Devout believers also have the Sta. Cruz Chapel for a place to practice their faith. For a more quiet and relaxing experience, Lola Perta’s Park offers the needed tranquility for a peaceful lone time while staring out into the sea and the Negros Island. 

Durhan White Beach Resort has an assortment of air conditioned and non-air conditioned rooms that are well-equipped with necessities that make the stay satisfying and comfortable.

They have cottages and non-conditioned rooms made of bamboo, nipa, and other native materials for experiencing the cool sea breeze. There are even non-air conditioned rest houses where big groups can store and cook their food.

HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact Location: Brgy. Tabunok, Tabuelan, Cebu — approx. 2 hours away from the city.

BY BUS/V-hire: Find your way to the Cebu North Bus Terminal and ride a bus/v-hire bound for Tabuelan or Victoria. Bus fare is ₱90-115 (one-way). Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Durhan White Beach Resort.

BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Durhan White Beach Resort” in Tabuelan, Cebu. Parking space is available upon arrival. There are two routes to get there – one is through the northwest while the other is through the southwest. Private vehicles usually take the route that passes through the Transcentral Highway.
