Missed traveling? Now you can as Cebu Province resumes more tourism activities under the modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) status. One of the allowed activities now is the famous Canyoneering in Badian and Alegria in southern Cebu.
On August 31, the tour guides and operators welcomed Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia at the entrance of the town’s Kawasan Falls for the official re-opening of canyoneering activities in the tourism site.
Cebu Governor Garcia has been pushing for the reopening of the tourism sector as this is Cebu’s main economic driver and many locals are highly depending on tourism as their source of income and livelihood.
